Hilda's pov: it was finally Christmas Day and no of us could wait any longer for Hugh to come back home. He was still in the hospital he had woken up but was still recovering from everything.
Rosa: I can't wait until Hugh can spend Christmas with us.
Daniel: yeah it sure would be nice to spend it with him.
Hilda:....
Brendan: Hilda are you okay?
Hilda: yeah.. It just what ever happened to Dawn?
The room was quite no one spoke a word.
Rosa: when she helped me escape the cage she told me she was gonna look for her real father.
Daniel: wait what?!
Rosa begins to explain the whole situation with dawn and her family.
Daniel: wow. I feel awful I hope she finds her parents.
Hilda: do you think she's gonna move?
Brendan: maybe so.
Soon after his remark they hear the door bell ring.
Rosa: I'll get it
Rosa opened the door and when she does she sees Hugh's little sister and Hugh sitting quietly in a wheelchair. He showed no emotion. He seemed like he was hopeless.
Rosa: HUGH!
Rosa hugs Hugh and begins to cry with tears of joy.
Hugh: hey rosa. How you doing baby?
Daniel walks up to the door.
Daniel: hey guys come on in!
Hugh strolls inside with his little sister.
Hilda: hey Hugh how you holding up?
Hugh: eh I've been worst.
Daniel: I thought you were spending Christmas with your family.
Hugh: I was but I didn't want to be with my dad he's a dick and I wanted to see rosa right after I recovered *smiles*.
Rosa: awe Hugh.
Hugh's little sister: let's get this party started!
Someone knocks on the door and Brendan gets up to open it.
Brendan: Dawn? What are you doing here.
Dawn: I came to wish you all a Merry Christmas and well I came to apologize about my so called father.
Hugh: Dawn don't worry it's fine it wasn't your fault.
Dawn: it's just I feel awful about it and came to apologize.
Rosa: well in that case we accept your apology.
Dawn: thank you. I better go now.
Daniel: if you want you can stay.
Dawn: are you sure?
Daniel: of course! Come on.
Last but no least Nate comes rushing through the door.
Nate: Hugh!? Where's Hugh!?
Hugh: right here bud.
Nate gives Hugh a big hug.
Nate: gah! I missed you bud.
Hugh: *smiles* I missed you too bud.
Hilda: look how happy they are.
Daniel: yeah. I'm just as happy.
Hilda: really now? How come?
Daniel: because Hugh is back and I have you by my side and that's something I would never let go of.
Hilda: Daniel you're too sweet.
Daniel: i know....Hilda would you like to stay the night with me?
Hilda: what do you mean?
Daniel: I mean just you and me.
Hilda: are you referring to...
Daniel: what?! NO! well at least not yet. I mean like stay the night in front of the fire place not you know what.
Hilda: Oh hehe well this is awkward now.
Daniel: so do you?
Hilda: of course.
Everyone gather around the Christmas tree and open their presents.
Hugh's little sister: I GOT A PONY!! What did you get rosa?
Rosa: let me see...
She picks up a present with her name on it.
From: Hugh
To: the love of my life rosa.
Rosa: awe Hugh you didn't have to.
Hugh: don't be silly open it.
Rosa opens up the present and see a diamond necklace.
Rosa: Hugh I-I...
Hugh: you like it?
Rosa: like it? I love it! But how did you afford this?!
Hugh: oh you know I just got some of my money together for you.
Rosa hugs Hugh and kisses him.
Hugh: I love you rosa.
Rosa: I love you too.
Nate: oh hell I'm coming in!!
Hugh's Little sister: me too!
Daniel: I can't resist!
Hilda: me either! Come on Dawn!
Hilda pulls Dawn into the group hug.
Everyone: MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
