Hugh's pov: it is very close to Christmas and we could hardly wait. We all went to Daniel's house to celebrate The days before Christmas because we all wanted to spend Christmas with our family.
*hilda and Hugh knock on the door*
Daniel: hey guys.
Hilda&hugh: hey Daniel.
Daniel: you guys can come in.
Hilda&hugh: thanks.
*they walk in Daniel's house and look at the Christmas tree which is full with presents.*
Hugh: uh Daniel who else is coming?
Daniel: why do you ask that?
Hugh: cause there's only 3 of us.... And there are more presents.
Daniel: Rosa,N,barry and more people are coming.
Hugh: oh cool.
Hilda: Daniel help me set the table.
Daniel: okay I'll be right there.
*Someone knocks on the door*
Hugh: I'll get it.
*Opens the door and sees Rosa and Brendan*
Hugh: hey guys come on in.
R&B: okay.
*They all walk inside*
Rosa: wow they did a great job!
Brendan: so Hugh where's peanut head?
Hugh: uh? Oh you must be talking about Hilda she's in the kitchen.
Brendan: thanks. * walks in the kitchen*
*knocks on the wall to get her attention*
Daniel: could you not?
Brendan: pff.
Daniel: whatever I'll be back I need to get the drinks.
Hilda: okay.
Brendan: hey peanut head.
Hilda: I swear if you don't stop I'm gonna hit you where the sun don't shine.
Brendan: okay okay I'll stop *smiles at Hilda*
Daniel: so... Hilda you wanna go help me with the tree?
Hilda: sure in a minute.
Brendan: *sighs*
Hilda: what's wrong?
Brendan: it's... never mind...
Hilda: Brendan I know something's wrong now please tell me.
Brendan: it's just seeing you again after a long time makes me think of the times we were little....
Hilda: we will always be friends no matter what.
Brendan: *sighs* yeah that's easy for you to say you have a mom.
Hilda: Brendan what are you talking about you have a mom.
Brendan:.....
Brendan: no I don't ....
Hilda: what do you mean?
Brendan: after we moved my mom had a heart attack...... and died I moved here with my dad to get away from all of it.
Hilda: I-I'm sorry.
Brendan: no it's not your fault it's mine for bringing it up....
Hilda: if it makes you feel better you can come help me and Daniel with the tree.
Brendan:*smiles* sure.
