Chapter 6 : Care or Scare

'Hazeline's POV'

I woke up in my house with mom besides me. My head was feeling heavy and I had a sharp headache. My mom helped me to sit back. I touched my head and there was a bandage wrapped around my head. "Sweety, are you ok? Does it hurt?" Mom asked me. I came to my senses and said "No, I am alright". "Lini, I was so worried. You were unconscious for a whole day. Yesterday your friend brought you home, he said you fell from the stairs in the library. I was really worried when I saw you like this! Are you okay, now?” Mom asked. I recalled everything what happened yesterday and I was pretty sure that there was something wrong with those brothers. "I am okay mom. There's no need to worry" I replied. I couldn't tell her the truth as it was too much to handle for me alone. "By the way, that boy was cute. Are you guys dating because he was really scared and asked me to call him when you wake up. He told me that his name was Ezekiel and he was a new kid in your school. Well you can tell your mom if you like him" Mom said with a wink and a cute smile. I wish I could tell her that it was nothing like that. That this guy is trying to make my life a hell. I didn't reply her and was silent. She was about to call Ezekiel when I stopped her and said that I will call him myself but I lied because I wanted to stay away from that guy. I woke up around 7 am in the morning but I wasn't feeling well and I didn't wanted to go to school today so I decided to skip the school today. I was watching TV with my mom when the doorbell rang. I got up to open the door and to my surprise it was Ezekiel. I subconsciously stepped backwards as it was still hard for me to accept the fact that something was wrong with this guy. I just stood there staring at him.

'Ezekiel's POV'

I was really scared when Hazel hit her head. There was blood everywhere and I was really scared. I thought I will lose her tonight. After 25 years of wait, I thought I will lose her all over again. I tried to heal her with my powers and luckily it worked. The blood stopped flowing and she was breathing all over again. Mikhael tried to touch her but I was really angry at him and stopped his hand. I grabbed his hand and hit him hard with a punch. "You! Why did you come here?! I told you guys to stay away from me but you didn't listen and see what happened" "Woah brother, that was hard. You literally hurted me." He said with a smirk. I don't what is his problem or why is he back. I just want to live a peaceful life with my love but nobody allows me to do so. I was about to hit Mikhael one more time when I heard Hazel. "Water............ Please" she said in a low voice. I  lifted her up, held her tightly in my arms and took her towards my car. I opened her mouth and poured water into her mouth but it was spilled. I put water in my mouth and put my lips on top of her face. She opened her eyes a little and held my head from back and pushed it towards her mouth and drank water from my mouth. I was surprised and a part of me felt happy and excited too. I didn't wanted to part from her. When she was done she fell unconscious again. Luckily no one was here today and no one saw Hazel getting hurt. I took her back to her house and told her aunt that she fell from the stairs and I am her friend. She got scared when she saw her niece like this and didn't ask me much. "Oh my god! Is my girl gonna be okay?!” she said while looking at me with pleading eyes, "Yes, I will make sure that" I said reassuring her. After I put her in her bed I gave my number to her aunt and asked her to call me when she wakes up and she said she will.  I went back to home. It was far away from the city. It was a big mansion on a top of hill. I usually loved to stay away from people. When I reached my home my brother was there waiting for me.
Mikhael : So you are finally back home little brother
Ezekiel : What are you doing here?! I told you to Stay away from me!
Mikhael : How can I stay away from you?! You are my brother!
Ezekiel : I wish I wasn't. Listen please leave. I finally found her again. Like the prophecy told, she is back again. And this time I will protect her highness, no matter what. So don't you dare to come in between us and tell father to stay away as well.
Mikhael : Well, you failed to protect her in the past, do you think father will give you this responsibility once again?! NO HE WON'T. THAT'S WHY I AM HERE. You tracked her but I will protect her.
Till then bye brother. See you tomorrow at school.

Mikhael said this and left. But somehow what he said was the truth. I failed to protect her in the past but I don't want to fail all over again and this time I will protect her with everything I have. I was restless and I felt that this night was too long. I wanted to be with Hazel but I can't as I couldn't face. When I she saw me like this She was terrified of me and hurted herself, what if she hates and doesn't want to see me again. But tomorrow I will go there and meet her and clear things out.
I woke up in the morning and got ready. I went straight to Hazel's house. I knocked at the door and I heard someone coming and opening the doorknob. I thought it must be her aunt but to my surprise it was Hazel. She was looking tired and fragile and it hurt me to see her like this. She was staring at me and when I tried to talk to her but she just COLLAPSED after looking at me........
