Chapter 15: Broken

Not finding Sammy's belongings was driving him crazy. The thought of losing her was a bad dream. He didn't want to accept that she no longer was there. She couldn't have seen what happened. It was a misunderstanding. Where would she go? He called her several times. He left voicemails and text messages. She hasn't responded. How? He wondered when did everything go wrong? He went back outside. Joon didn't do anything wrong. He was really confused. Clarissa put something in his drink. He couldn't have slept with her. He DOES NOT love her. All these emotions running through him began to turn to anger and frustration.Did Clarissa make up a lie and told Sammy they spent the night together? Why would she do something so wicked? That evil bitch.Clarissa tried to talk to Joon but was completely ignored. He was thinking about Sammy and her whereabouts. Does Clarissa know about his secret relationship with Sammy? All these questions and he still didn't know what else to think of. He didn't want to expose himself. But at the same time he knows how much Clarissa hates Sammy. He knew there was tension between them. Why would Clarissa go that far? He then goes back and decided to confront Clarissa. What was all of that about? Joons parents went into the dining room and waited for their food. They both called him and Clarissa to the table. Joon didn't want to sit next to her. He was pissed. His mom asked if everything was okay. He just wasn't feeling well that was all. His dad asked where Sammy was and why she wasn't in the kitchen helping the other maids. Clarissa smirked because she knew that her plan worked. Joon noticed and tried hard not to say anything. All four of them finished up and Joon made his way to his studio. Clarissa followed him. He sensed her in the room. He wanted to know why she was following him. She turned on the security cameras and showed him why. Sammy was there in front of the door watching Clarissa and Joon in bed naked. He watched as her heart shattered.Joon had many emotions running through his mind. Clarissa exposed the truth. She confirmed that Joon and Sammy were having an affair.

She wanted to give Sammy a taste of her own medicine. Clarissa yelled at Joon and warned him that she would tell his parents the truth. At this point he did not care. She saw this coming from a mile away. Joon clearly never had feelings for her. Why does it matter now? How will he try to convince Sammy that it was all a wicked plan to separate them both? His heart sank watching Sammy's heart being shred into pieces. He wanted to find her and tell her what really happened but where could she be? Clarissa was obsessed with Joon. She claimed she could be a better woman to him. He felt disgusted. If Clarissa knew the truth she could have just exposed them. Instead she went ahead and made Sammy think that she was having sex with Joon when she saw them in bed together. Joon's anger made him burst out. Clarissa yelled back at him & told him that Sammy was no woman for him. She knew since day one she was a threat to her. Clarissa had been desiring Joon since they got engaged. He couldn't stand another word from her. He wished he would have just dropped everything and left with Sammy. She's nowhere to be found. Joon couldn't leave things like this. He had to tell Sammy the truth. All he wanted was to see her and tell her what she thought she saw wasn't true. How could he possibly prove that to her? He wasted no time and headed out to look for her. No matter what it took he knew he would find her.
Days went by and he still heard nothing from her. He really hoped she was okay. He began to worry because he was still not able to get a hold of her . He went out of his way to try and track her down from her phone but it looked like she got rid of her number and everything else. He couldn't live without her. She was a part of him and he didn't want to accept that he lost her. He hired a detective to help him find her. Another couple of days passed by and he finally received good news. Sammy was spotted checking into a hotel. She seemed out of place like she didn't sleep for days. He was a bit nervous about confronting her. Meanwhile Sammy went inside her hotel room. She was still heartbroken from Joon's betrayal. She tried so hard not to think about him. He was always there in the back of her mind. She regrets not leaving the mansion beforehand. He took too long to break off his marriage with Clarissa. A lot of things ran through her mind. At this point she didn't want to know anything about him. She just wants to move on and hops in the shower & stays there for a while. It's been days since she left the mansion without a word. She no longer cared if their secret was exposed. All this time she thought she would have a future with him. The amount of times she risked it all for him. She thought their love was strong enough to fight anything. She was in a world of disaster. She couldn't help the pain she felt. Her world was shattered. A few more minutes passed by and she gets out of her shower stall. She wore a light purple laced gown that exposed her curvy body with a robe. She walks over to the couch and turns on the t.v. All of a sudden she hears a knock on the door. She wondered who it could be this late at night. She walked over and checked who it was but nobody was there. Must have been the wrong room. She hears the knock again and there's still no one there. She opened the door..... Joon was standing in front of her. She didn't know how to react. Many emotions ran through her mind. Joon wanted to talk to her. She refused and scolded him to get out and leave. She wanted nothing to do with him. She tried to close the door but he put his hand in the way. She was angry with him she couldn't even look at him. He tried to calm her down but she didn't want to hear another word from him. She was way to emotional. He approached her and hugged her. She tried to pushed him away from her but couldn't. He was stronger than her. He grabbed both of her arms and put them behind her back. He looked her in the eyes and told her to hear him out. He slowly walked over to the couch and laid down with her. He was on top of her. She tried to get lose but was trapped in his arms. He forced her to listen to him. He explained what happened that night. What she saw was part of Clarissa's plan to separate them. Sammy didn't want to hear him anymore. What's done is done. He broke her heart and she will never forgive him. He tried to sympathize with her and begged her to believe him. How could she possibly believe him if he had no proof? She wanted him to leave but he didn't want to. He wanted to stay there with her because he was scared of leaving and never seeing her again. He was upset with her because she left without saying a word. He spent days looking for her. She didn't want anything to do with him anymore. He kissed her deeply & she refused to kiss him back. She couldn't look at him. She saw them naked in bed together. How could she possibly heal from that? She brings up the fact that he never divorced Clarissa. He saw how hurt she was and gets up from the couch. He explained his truth but how would she believe him. He made promises that he couldn't keep. She didn't want to yell anymore. She just wanted to be alone. He got down on his knees and begged her to forgive him. He never meant to hurt her. He didn't do anything wrong. He kept trying to explain to her that it was all a misunderstanding. She had to push him away for her to heal. She told him if he doesn't leave right that second she would not hesitate to run out of the hotel. After trying to convince him to leave he decided it was best to leave her alone. He realized that there was nothing he could do to stop the pain she felt. He was hurt at the fact that she didn't believe him and refused to hear his side of the story. She was full of anger. He then walks out the door and Sammy followed him. Both of them looked at each other one more time & she closed the door. She made sure to lock it. Joon stood outside feeling hopeless. Deep in his heart he knows she would believe him so he had to give her space. Sammy knew what she had to do. Now that Joon knows where she's been staying she had to disappear for good.She had to move on with her life and find a way to forget her past.
