Chapter 16: 3 Years Later

It's been three years since Sammy has seen Joon. After he found out where she was staying she decided to move out in the open. She had a new life far away from drama. She had to do something with her herself and not give up. She had to move on because she didn't want to be in pain anymore. The moment she stepped on the plane she knew her life was about to change for good. Now she's living on her own in her new condo. She never imagined she'd own a nice place like hers. She had a perfect view with the city lights beaming at night. All this time she thought she needed love but she was now over it. The Sammy that everyone knew no longer exists. Through the years her personality changed drastically. She is now her own woman with a different attitude. She learned to love herself and not take anything from anyone anymore. The city she's in has a different vibe. It's so peaceful yet perfect for a place to live in. On very hot days the beach was the place to be. The sunset looked beautiful as the sunrise. Sammy was out and about when she received a call. It was an agency that was seeking for a model to represent their company. At first she wasn't interested at all. After an exchange of words eventually she agreed to meet with them later that day to see what is was that they needed from her. The company itself was having problems because of  the amount of pressure of the  competition with other companies. An agent found Sammy when she was out in the mall. Her beauty was so mesmerizing that the agency soon found out who she was and were able to get a hold of her. Sammy never liked seeking attention from everyone. The company needs a face for their new product. It was a perfume that lasted all day and night. It came with a bundle with skin care. The product was brand new and they needed to promote it. Sammy went to the company's building and heading towards the lobby. Once she was there she checked in. She was approached by the agent who found her and led her to the office. The view was beautiful. The whole city can be seen. The agent explained the process of what needs to be done and how it will all work. Then she was led into the big office and there were a few ladies and gentlemen. All of them turned to see her.

She gets a bit nervous because she didn't know if she made the right impression. Everyone kept staring at her. The gentleman were impressed with her beauty. She went ahead and took a seat. The owner of the company welcomed her as well as everyone else. After a few hours of the meeting Sammy agreed to become the face of the company. She felt secure in what she was doing. She thought about it and made her decision.  Score launching their new product they planned to reveal the new face of their company in an event they would host. The release of the new product was in less than 3 weeks. During that time they would get everything ready and the set beforehand. Meanwhile Sammy was training to get the perfect catwalk. Her stylist was in charge of her outfit for that day. She had her own makeup artist and hairdresser. The event was now 1 week away and Sammy felt nervous but excited at the same time. Surrounded with a caring and friendly environment is what she needed. The owner of the company thanked her for accepting to be their new face of their company. Sammy was glad to take the opportunity she was given. He has a family of three sons and his beautiful wife. His sons never showed up to his meetings because they didn't find any interest in them. One of them showed up while Sammy was having a conversation with him. He checked in and made his way to his fathers office. After a few words Sammy was ready to go home. It was a long day for her. She needed some sleep because of how tired she was. She heads out and goes to the elevator. The elevator opens and  sees Shownu. Both were in shock to see each other. It's been a while since they last spoke .He was glad to see her. He wondered what she was doing there. Sammy explained to him what happened and how she ended up in that building. He is the owner's eldest son. Sammy knew his family owned a business but never thought that it was that exact same one. He was glad to know that she would be the new face. He asked her how she was feeling. She was a bit nervous but knew it would all turn out fine. Time was ticking for the day of the launch to come. Shownu's father had several alliances in which would be invited to the event.

The day of the launch was finally here. The preparations and everything else were in place. Sammy was ready to conquer the world. She was living a dream that only dreams were made of. Never in her life did she think she would be where she is now. The opportunity of shining like a bright star was now in her hands. She just hoped for the best and wanted to live the moment. The event was now starting. All the guests who arrived were seated in different tables. Shownu went to check up on Sammy. She was fine it was just the nerves. She felt excited. A few moments passed by. It was now her turn to step on the stage. She was hidden as the mystery woman for the big surprise. She wore a caped hood that covered her up. The lights dimmed down and all that was seen was her shadow. The mellow music rose up and the drum roll hit the base. Introduced as the new face of the company was Sammy Maritza Reignheart. The world in front of her stood still. The lights shined bright on her when she was revealed. Under the cape hood she was in a silky dress that showed her curves. The rhinestones on the the dress shined with the beam light. The strapless dress fit perfectly on her. It was like a fairy gown. She had pearled crown around her head with her big hair curls down. The makeup she wore was natural. She wore a soft pink eyeshadow with black eyeliner and rosy cheeks. Her lipstick was nude and her highlighter was rose gold. She felt confident about herself. She begins to walk the runway towards the front holding the new fragrance. Her smile then begins to slowly fade away. Time stopped when she saw who it was.The man who broke her heart was standing right there in front of her. He stared at her with shock. Many emotions were running through him. Namjoon couldn't believe it was her. The love of his life Sammy. The woman that he thought he lost forever. He never thought he would see her again. He was at loss for words. She was even more stunning than ever. His heart beated for her. His eyes were filled with lust and desire. He wanted to grab her and take her with him. Sammy tried hard to ignore him and smiled at the rest of the guests. She continued to walk the runway.The show went on. A few more catwalks and they called it a night. Music was played. Food and drinks were served. Sammy went to her dressing room and quickly changed. She had to get out of there as soon as possible. She didn't want to bump into Joon. She didn't want to see him. Joon was out looking for her. He wanted to talk to her and make things right. Sammy made her way out of the event and waited for a limousine. As soon as she saw the limo pull up to the drive way she ran to go inside. Joon called her name. He ran after her. She was already inside the the limo. She asked the driver to get her home. Joon didn't understand why she was running from him. He was going to find her and talk to her one way or another.
