William's P.O.V
I just sat there, staring at the brick wall as if it was my own reflection. Feeling weak and useless, trapped here in a cage like a prisoner. The walls had a gushy substance that crept down like a slow stain of tears. Not a speck of light shone in this dark filthy room.
How could they capture me? The King of Angels!
I'm praying to the sky hoping that they would forgive me for everything that caused this. The prophet is happening, and darkness will soon overcome the world. I'm afraid that there is no way out of this, no stop to this...it all depends on Rainie. So I really think that those ungrateful people out there should just appreciate all the beauty that is still left and be happy, because if Rainie chooses dark, not a trace of beauty would be left.
The heavy wooden doors flung open and made a terrible screeching noise as it scratched the cold cement floor. I took a whiff of the air and immediately sensed darkness hovering around the room. Not a room, more like Hades . Devin, the King of Darkness stormed into the room along with two dark angels guarding him. If I had my powers with me right now, I swear I could've defeated them in a flash. I cursed silently to myself and looked up avoiding eye contact with Devin.
Just looking at him made me feel sick, with his pale wrinkly skin, long rough hair that was tangled, bloody and chapped looking lips, and eyes that weren't even eyes. His eyes were so dark that when you stared at them, they seemed like two black holes. Devin's dark black wings drooped behind him, with feathers all out of order, jagged and dirty. One wing was higher than the other, the darkness in those wings were weighing him down. No wonder they were drooping.
The Great Creator created every angel as light, but Devin rebelled because of jealousy. He wanted to be as great as me, to be the ruler of all the angels, but I was chosen to be king, not him. So he chose to be a dark angel, the first. Every year, he would persuade more and more angels to turn dark. I don't know how his powers got so strong, but I do know that the prophet is involved. It's sad how all these innocent angels are falling away from me and being tricked into becoming dark. One day, those wicked devils will pay for this.
"Well, well, well, look at who we got here! Is this really the king of angels?!Bahaha!" Devin said in a sarcastic tone. He smirked and walked closer to me.
"Stay away from me."
He lifted up his head and let out a chilling laugh. It echoed again and again as it bounced off the brick walls of the room.
"Oh William, how foolish you are! I don't think you should be talking to me like this, because I have all the powers now," His hollow eyes narrowed down into a evil glare filled with anger, "And soon I'll be in control of everything! Not you. You will suffer like how I suffered and you will be in the hands of Hades."
I grunted from the pain of the chains that were cuffed all over my body. The weight pressed my body down and made me feel as if I was about to fall. No, I will never fall! I cannot and I will not.
"You will regret this, I am the ruler and I always will be." I took in a deep breath while my heart pumped harder and harder. I felt blood vines thrusting out from my neck and arms, like if I was suffocating. Does the pain weigh out the pride?
"No I won't, and you know what will make this even more exciting?!" He let out an malevolence giggle, "Your daughter will be helping!"
My wings that once use to be pure white and beautiful was now covered in dirt. It drooped down like a dark angel. My heart sank when he mentioned Rainie.
