Chapter 3-Dead

                I opened my eyes and looked around. Ambulances were all around along with people surrounding the scene.

                “Rainie,” a voice called out to me.

                “Shon? I thought you were dead? Is that really you..?” I took a step towards him, but stopped myself. He’s dead…you’re hallucinating Rainie, pull yourself together. Then I remembered, the shadow, the black van..I lifted my hands up in front of myself and looked at them carefully. Not a tiny scratch or drop of blood were on them, instead I was kind of glowing?

                I turned around from Shon and looked at the ambulance, they carried in a body covered with blood.

                It was me.

                Mom was screaming and sobbing while the polices were trying to pull her back. She tried her best to pull herself out of the police’s grasp but it was no use. Her beautiful dark brown hair was messed up and tangled. Cameron...he was just standing there, with a confused look on his face. His lips were pursed tightly and his eyes were pink.

                I walked over to Mom and Cameron. “Mom it’s me stop crying please, I’m right here.” She didn’t budge, then I walked over to Cameron.

                “Cam? Are you ok? I’m right here, show your sis that big smile of your’s,” Cameron looked up at me then looked away as if he didn’t see me. I took a step forward and gasped. I walked through him.

                “Rainie…it’s no use” Shon whispered to me.

                I cupped my mouth with my left hand and fell to the ground. My eyes started watering up and this time I didn’t hold it in. I took in a deep breath and looked over at Shon.

                “It can’t be..tell me that I’m not dead Shon, tell me that this is just another one of my crazy dreams!” He stepped closer to me and stared at me with a concering look.

                “I’m sorry…” he wrapped me in his warm arms and ran his fingers through my hair. I started crying even harder and made his soft white sweather wet with tears. “It’s ok, you’re here with me now,”

                “But I don’t understand, what’s going on? Why are you here? What’s “here”? If “here” is Heaven, why are we still on Earth? Are we ghosts? Is that why I walked through Cameron? Wh-“

                “Woah woah woah, hey slow down! At least you’re still you,” Shon gave me a grin, but his eyes showed pain. He looked down at the ground then back at me. “ There are things..that are hard to believe..but you have to listen, don’t talk just listen ok?” He pressed a finger against my lips and I nodded.

                Letting out a sigh, he started telling me what was happening. “I’m an angel, and now, so are you. ”

                “Wha-“

                “I was never suppose to die, that dark shadowy figure you saw was my killer. I don’t know what he wants, or who he is but I know that he was also involved with your death. I could sense that he’s possessed by a dark anglel, a demon. That’s why I’m still here, on earth, my mission is to find out who killed me, and to protect you. I’m your guardian angel. Those voices you heard in your head…they were real, and they were from me. It’s called kelting Rainie, when two people are spiritually connected, they form a bond so strong that they could communicate through their mind,” He looked at my eyes, and it felt as if he was reading every thought that was going through my mind that moment.

                I am

                I looked up at him shocked, he avoided eye contact with me and continued talking.

 “But the thing is, our bond is stronger then most angels. Please believe this, even when you were alive, you were half angel. Cameron is the same but you’re special Rainie, like no other. William- I mean your dad, he’s immortal, he’s actually the King of Angels. He never meant to hurt your family, he never wanted to leave your mother. You don’t know how hard it was for him to leave you guys, but the sky kept contacting him that something was wrong. Your dad had no choice but to head back and rule over his kingdom. Everyday, he would be looking down on earth watching your mother and your family, trying to protect all of you guys to the best of his ability. But then the prophet hit..

Feeding off your deapest fears,

Vexed to find as darkness nears,

Secret eyes and hidden ears.

The compass will show,

But for now from below,

Daughter of Will,

Shall choose the road.

Darkness hit and your dad had to help, the compass of destiny , or circumdabit fati in latin, started getting closer to pointing to “dark”. It still is Rainie, and because you’re the daughter of William, the angels need your help.”

“I’ve always believed in angels Shon..you know that. But how could I help? There isn’t anything special about me, I’m just some random mortal.”

Shon smirked and almost burst out laughing, “ Are you kidding me?! Even before I turned into an angel I knew that you were something special. Every little thing about you is special, and that’s what made me fall in love with you. Plus, I already told you that you’re half angel. Trust me, there are so many things that you are capable of doing, you just don’t see it. Now..it is said that when a person is mix blooded with an angel, they will be chosen to be either a light or dark angel on their 16th birthday. But because you’re born with the blood of the King of Angels, you get to choose if you want to be light or dark.”

“ Why would I want to choose to be dark?” I asked.

“It’s not that…your dad, he’s been captured by the demons. Day by day, he’s been getting weaker. The demons know how powerful you are, and they want your power so that the circumdabit fati  will point to “dark”. When the needle points to “dark”, the demons will rule over everything.” Shon said.

Then all of a sudden he leaned in to kiss me. My hands traveled up his back as he caressed my sides. It felt so good to feel his lips against mine again, I didn’t think I’d ever feel his touch again.

“No! The kiss of life!” he shouted.

His voice started fading, and the distance between us seemed to get farther and farther away.

“Shon what’s happening? Help me!” I tried to reach for his hand but it was no use.

“ I love you Rainie, trust me everything will be ok! I’m your guardian angel and I will protect you. You will no longer see me in human form but in a glowing blur, do not be afraid to kelt with me, for that is all I can do to communicate with you. Aunt Helen will know, go to her, for now all I can say is goodbye dear.” His loving voice faded away and instead I heard machines beeping around me.

My eyes were heavy and my body felt completely sore.

“She’s coming back!” a stranger’s voice called out.

I felt my heart pounding harder and harder. Am I alive again? No! I want to be with Shon! I started kicking even though every part of me was in pain.

“ Shon! Don’t leave me!” I screamed.

“Don’t leave me…” I whispered calmly before I fell into a deep deep sleep...

Pheeewww! What a chapter! >.< I was in a really big rush, so excuse the grammar mistakes. Nobody really reads this but yea enjoy (: GO CATS!~ omg i just realized Bell wasn't in this chapter! NOOOO!
