THIS IS A REALLY SHORT CHAPTER BECAUSE THE NEXT CHAPTER IS GONNA BE MORE INTERESTING AND ALSO BECAUSE THE NEXT CH IS ABOUT HER RETURNING SCHOOL ETC, BUT I DONT WANT TO SKIP ANY PARTS SO THIS IS MAINLY WHEN RAINIE GOT LET OUT OF THE HOSPITAL OK SO YEA.

Rainie’s P.<3.V

So the day finally came when I got let out from the hospital. The doctors said that I was a fast healer and that it’d take only a month for my bone to heal. Well, I am half angel. Still, I had to use crutches to walk around, the nurses helped me out with that. It’s almost October which means I’ve been missing about two weeks of school. Great.

There’s so many things happening, my mind feels like it’s going to explode. Academics really aren’t my flow anyway, neither are crutches. I wonder what people are going to do when they see me like this. This just makes me feel even weaker.

How can I even put on my makeup? Gross, what kind of girl in high school wears just a naked face to school? Then again…who would care?

I was never really in the “in” group, but ever since I started dating Shon, people actually stopped by to say hi in the hallways. Shon was pretty popular I guess, why wouldn’t he be? All the girls adored him, and all the guys looked up at him. He use to be point guard for basketball, when he passed away…everyone was miserable, and the team nearly fell apart. The looks people gave me hurt so much, they would just look deeply into my eyes, see the pain, purse their lips tightly together, then walk away. I still tell myself each day that I have to lift my head high, because I don’t want to see people suffer the way I do.

*~*

It was nice to feel the sun tickling my skin again. The fresh air smelled great compared to the smells in the hospital. Mom was by my side still helping me a bit with the crutches, she led me to her glossy white Mercedes and helped me sit down. It was then when I realized how beautiful she was, but every time I looked at her, she seemed so tired and broken. Just like me. I wish she knew the truth about Dad.

The ride back home was pretty quiet, we mainly talked about going back to school and how excited Cameron was to see me. When we pulled up to the garage, the first thing I saw was the porch being lighted up along with Cameron’s little head peeping out the front door.

“ Rainniiee!! You’re hommme! C’mon let’s go! Belle missed you sooo much!” he said enthusiastically.

“Haha alright Cam,”

The clicky and clattery sound bounced off the ground as I made my way through the front door. Cameron lightly hugged me while pressing his face softly against my stomach.

“ I missed you sis, I’m s-sorry I kept bothering you. I didn’t mean to! I promise I won’t do it as much anymore, it’s all my fault, I’m sowwy,” He pulled away with tears trickling down his puffy cheeks.

“ Hey hey, don’t cry, it wasn’t your fault Cam. Aren’t you suppose to be happy that your big sis is finally back home?” I gave him a light smile, he grinned back widely and tugged on my shirt signaling me to follow him.

The rest of the evening was mainly family time with Cameron showing off all his newly built Lego toy stuff. I was glad to be back home, though I wanted to be with Shon…I knew that Mom and Cam needed me. When we were all finally tired, Mom tucked Cameron in and helped me clean up myself. Normally this would be awkward, but she is my mom. Finally, I laid down on my bed exhausted. Looking up at the ceiling that I know is mine, I slowly drifted to sleep.

Schools tomorrow, wish me luck Shon.

Good Luck.
