Here we go again!

The original version of this story was deleted, and this is an entirely new rewrite of it! I hope everyone enjoys it!

A few things-

- Pan is Goku and Chi-Chi's child. Why? Because I can.
- I own NOTHING Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT. This will be my only time saying this! I am a simple fangirl who enjoys writing for my otp.
- ENJOY!

How it Started:

Pan nibbled on her toast. Her stomach was in a swirl of nerves. Her uneasy heart couldn't seem to rest. Tomorrow would be the first day back to school after a month-long winter break. She wasn't ready. How could she be ready?

"It's okay, Panny," Bulla placed a comforting hand on her shoulder and squeezed it. "I'll be by your side," she promised.

Pan let out a heavy sigh and nodded her head slowly. "Thanks, Bu."

She would be arriving at school with Bulla every day this upcoming week, making things better. She wouldn't be walking into the lion's den alone, at least.

Pan was currently staying over at the Briefs for the next week. Her parents had gone to Pepper Town with Gohan and Marron to visit their Grandpa Ox King. Pan had wanted to go, but with the last semester of her third year starting and college exams coming up, she couldn't. She had to stay to attend school and study, and Bulma had offered to let her stay with them so she wouldn't be alone.

"I hope I don't have to see him much this last semester," Pan mumbled. "I don't think I'll be able to handle seeing his face in every class again."

Bulla turned towards Pan. Her expression was soft and filled with worry. "Panny," she began gently. "I know you said you handled it, but I still think you should tell-"

"Shh," Pan's eyes widened as Trunks entered the kitchen. Her heart sank into the pit of her stomach at the sight of him. He was the last person she wanted in her business after what had happened. "It's fine. Me and Matsu are done. I made sure of it."

Bulla gave Pan a frown, one that said that they weren't done talking. Pan didn't know why Bulla was so worried about it. Pan had taken care of things. At least, she hoped she had.

"What's wrong?" Trunks didn't turn around from the counter as he fixed him some cereal. "You and your boyfriend break up?" He barked out an unkind laugh.

Pan could feel her cheeks starting to prickle with heat, but she clamped her mouth down tight. She had nothing to say to Trunks, not after all the unkind things he had told her that night. He already assumed the worse of her, even if it wasn't true.

"You're such an ass!" Bulla yelled at Trunks.

He ignored her comment and walked over to the table to sit down in front of them. "I've been called worse," he finally said.

Pan avoided looking at him. She didn't want to see him because he would only make her nerves worse.

"Good morning!" Bulma chirped as she walked in. She held what looked like a gun in her hands.

"Mom! What did we say about inventions at the table?" Trunks motioned to the gun.

Bulma pouted as she sat down and clutched it to her chest. "It's a perspective ray, and I have a hunch that it'll work this time! There's a piece to it that's a little loose, but the new piece will be arriving in a week, and I know it'll work just fine afterward!"

"A perspective ray?" Pan asked curiously. "What does it do, Bulma?"

Bulla let out a groan, "Panny, don't get her started-"
