FRIDAY

Pan let out a sigh as she leaned back in Trunks' chair. She was so happy it was Friday! The part to the ray came in earlier, and she had nearly burst with joy. Bulma had been happy about it, too. She had taken off early for the day so she could head over to Brief Manor and start working on it.

Pan glanced at the clock on the wall nearby and let out a small sigh. It was just a little after three. She had almost an hour left. She had kept herself busy all day by reading over papers for the upcoming Capsule Homes, and she also ran errands for Bulma before she left. She'd do anything to keep her distracted so she wouldn't look at her phone and at the video of Trunks knocking Matsu out. It had became a viral sensation and even everyone at the office was taking about.

With another sigh, Pan stood up and paced around Trunks' office for a few minutes. She had texted Bulla and Trunks earlier, and they had both said that everyone at school couldn't stop talking about what had happened. Pan was dreading Monday morning would she would have to go back to school and deal with it.

Shaking her head, Pan walked towards the door. She needed a snack or something to keep her occupied. As soon as Pan walked out, she spotted Trunks and her eyes widened in surprise. He must have come over right after school let out. He grinned at her and was almost at the last cubical in front of his office before Jenny zoomed out of nowhere and blocked him. Pan blinked in surprise. She must not have seen Pan behind her.

"What the hell?" Trunks frowned up at Jenny. "Move!"

"I'm sorry," Jenny's voice made it clear that she wasn't the least bit sorry. "But Mr. Brief is very busy today. He can't be disturbed."

"Oh really?" Trunks muttered dryly. He looked around Jenny and caught Pan's eyes. He raised his eyebrows as if to say, 'seriously?'.

"Yes, really," Jenny huffed, and Pan imagined she was rolling her eyes. Quietly, Pan started to walk up behind her, and she could hear Jenny telling Trunks, "he doesn't have time to be distracted by little girls like you."

Pan's eyes widened. She was not a little girl!

Trunks snapped, "do you have any idea who the hell I am?!"

Despite being livid at Jenny, and half tempted to kick her on her sorry butt, Pan wanted to snort. That was the second time in two days. Trunks had someone that question.

"You're Bulla's friend," Jenny sighed. "Why don't you go find her and leave Mr. Brief alone."

"I am also Trunks' friend," he huffed at her. "I'm a very special friend, in fact. So special that if you piss me off enough, I can get you fired!"

Jenny's shoulders stiffened before she laughed. "You expect me to believe that?!"

"Ask him!" Trunks pointed behind her towards Pan.

Jenny turned around quickly and screamed in surprised as she spotted Pan. "Mr. Brief!" She grabbed her chest. "I was just sending her away. I thought you could-"

"She's right," Pan interrupted Jenny. "She's a very special friend, and I already told you that it was not necessary. She's allowed to visit me anytime she wishes."

"Ha!" Trunks said. He walked past Jenny, whose cheeks were red with embarrassment. He smirked back at Jenny before he grabbed Pan's hand and pulled her towards the elevators. "Where are you going?" He asked.

"I was getting some snacks. What are you doing here?" She asked.

"Just checking up on things," he said. After they got into the elevator, he let out a sigh and let go of her hand. "I forgot how annoying that woman is."
