Edgelord meets an Awkward Bookworm

"Agh! That came out wrong uhm I meant I'm sorry!"

There was no response

"Oh no no no, I killed him-uhm what do I do?! I'm so sorry! It wasn't intentional! Uhm uh! Bepo uh! Help?!" I cried panicking over the body

"I dont know either (M/N)! I'm going to cry!" Bepo started crying

"Uh please don't cry! I'm going to cry too-uh nevermind uhm I already am, mister scary uh uh edgelord please uh wake up!" I pleaded.

"Who are you calling edge lord, bookworm-ya?" I heard the person seethed

"Uhm uh uhm uh..." I lost words

In my panic, I got red from the embarrassing reactions I had and being unable to form coherent words especially since I did cry a bit from thinking I had nearly killed a man. The person looked so done with me until he saw Bepo by my side and relaxed at the sight of him. I decided to apologise and promise not to tell anyone in hasty decision. This was so I could just get out of this impossibly awkward situation. I got up and left forgetting my book before rushing inside. I ran away from the scary mean edge lord. I gave my onigiri as an apology before the scary edge lord could reply.

Only once I was in my room did I realise I forgot my book but I didn't want to go outside and look for it since the edge lord might still be there so I just stayed there like an awkward shaking leaf in my room. Much later, Marco came in looking for me and raised an eyebrow at my much more calm but still panicking state. He sat down on my bed as I nervously tried explaining how I went outside while having my meal while leaving out the meeting of Bepo and scary edge lord.

However, since such crucial details were left out, Marco was confused at my panic but just helped me calm down and relax while promising to find my book for me. He brought me into his lap with my consent to give me a hug to help relax me while using those pretty bright blue gentle yet warm flames to soothe me. It worked and I became easily more relaxed as he pet my hair. Eventually, I started getting embarrassed from the contact and got out of his lap to go and eat dinner in the kitchen with Thatch but I made sure to thank him first.

Taking a while to reach the kitchen, I had a large bowl of curry with rice set up for me when I did with Thatch grinning with a bright smile. Everything seemed normal as I sat down until I realised that Ace... got stuck in a trashcan where excess food waste went and couldn't get out. No wonder Thatch was laughing so much and I just joined in one the laughter. He barked at us for both laughing before joining in himself. When Haruta and Izo walked in on the scene, they started laughing before Haruta went closer and shoved Ace all the way in before closing the top.

I nearly spat out my food from nearly bursting out with laughter and struggled to swallow the food. It was even funnier when Thatch brought out a lock and locked the trashcan before taking out the trashcan with an angry screaming Ace inside. He may be a demon but even he struggled to get out of a trash can.

Even Izo had to take a seat to watch in amusement while having a bite from me. Even Haruta took a bite after before I continued eating. We started chatting and it went well before Haruta asked me about if anything special happened. I never ate curry so fast but that made Haruta skip the question while Izo reprimanded me for my manners. I could only let out a nervous smile. Soon after I was done eating and chatting, I left to see Whitebeard who asked if any of us have seen Ace and Izo gave am answer.

"He's with his kind Pops"

"And where's that?"

"Among the trash"

The day eventually passed into the late night and I went to my bedroom after speaking with Whitebeard, only to hear the shower running. I crawled into bed reading a book about travels around the world. I wondered who it was until Ace stepped out with not even a towel! I fainted immediately from the heat and what I saw. An amazing sight but still- it was too much for my likes towards men. By the time I came too, Ace had a pair of shorts on and casually greeted me but I couldn't look him in the face. He was right next to me too. Ace didn't understand however and grabbed my hands to pull them away from my face.

"You okay? Something wrong?" Ace asked

"Uh your too close!" I mumbled

"Oh sorry"

Ace backed off and even moved away despite not understanding my reaction. I tried to tell him as best I could of why and he misunderstood and was alright with showing me again if that made me feel better. That got me red and I tried to explain that was the whole reason why I got so red and it finally clicked in his mind. He got very red too and we both just sat in awkward silence until I apologised for making it awkward. Ace told me to take back that apology and apologised for making me shy.

Before I could rebuttal, I realised that Ace fell asleep on me and I got a bit more red but pulled him closer to hug him and went to bed myself. Sometime later in the night, Thatch must've joined because he wanted some warmth too and even Marco came when I was about to finally drift off. I felt Marco kiss the top of my head but I was just too sleep to react as I fell asleep. I liked the kissies though.

"Night, (M/N)-yoi"
