But you are enough

ʙᴜᴛ ʏᴏᴜ ᴀʀᴇ ᴇɴᴏᴜɢʜ

To say that Jimin was shocked would be an understatement. Had he just linked with Jungkook? Had he found his mate? His mate was Jeon Jungkook?

Jungkook cupped Jimin's face and leaned in. He closed his eyes and slowly pressed his lips on Jimin's. Jimin was so taken back that he couldn't process what was happening at the moment. He didn't dare to kiss back so he let Jungkook take the lead. They stayed in that position for like 30 seconds until Jungkook noticed that Jimin wasn't kissing him back. He pulled away and looked at Jimin's face who was blushing right now. The moonlight lighting up his face, he was glowing right now and Jungkook wondered if it was because they linked or because he was an angel. He looked ethereal he thought.

''Am I really such a bad kisser?'' Jungkook chuckled.

Jimin's eyes widened and again didn't know what to say.

''N- no not at a- all.. I was j-just surprised sorry.'' Jimin stuttered. 

''Cute''. 

''How did you know that I was your mate?'' Jimin then asked.

''I knew if for a long time actually.'' Jungkook said kicking some pebbles that laid on the ground.

''I thought you already linked with someone else..'' Jimin said sadly.

''What made you think that?'' Jungkook said offended.

''I saw those girls...'' Jungkook said unsure.

''It you all time Jimin, I knew it all along.'' Jungkook said.

''How?'' Jimin asked. 

''I have always felt attracted to you I guess. It was like a red string pulling me towards you.'' Jungkook said.

''What? But why didn't I have that?'' Jimin asked.

''You also had it, remember the time you bumped into me? Or the time in the cantine when you couldn't look away from me. Yes I noticed you all those times Jimin-ssi.'' Jungkook laughed but soon that smile faded. ''Also all the times when Kai tried to take you from me.'' 

''Oh.. yeah he is an asshole.'' Jimin chuckled scratching the back of his neck.

''He is, if he ever tries to pull a stunt like that again I will rip his head off.'' Jungkook growled.

Jimin blushed again feeling embarrassed but also satsfied. Jungkook acted possessive over him and he felt protected by that. How did he not notice Jungkook looking at him before? Was he really that oblivious?

''So..'' Jimin said shyly. 

''So?'' Jungkook asked.

''Do you accept me as your mate..?'' Jimin asked softly.

''Of course I do why wouldn't I.'' Jungkook said dumb-founded.

''There are so many other beautiful creatures out there but now you're stuck with me, it's not like we have a choice anyways. But If I were you I would have felt very disappointed.'' Jimin said unsure, looking down to his feet again. He was so afraid of rejection that he let the fear in him take over.

''What are you talking about? Have you seen yourself?'' Jungkook said.

Jimin looked up.

''Of course I have... that's why I'm saying it. You deserve better. I'm not enough for you.'' Jimin said sadly.

Jungkook walked towards him and cupped his face once again.

''I have been watching you for a long time Jimin-ssi. You are by far the most beautiful angel I have ever seen. And am very lucky to have you as my mate. It's me not deserving you but I hope... you will still accept me.'' Jungkook said full with fondness in his eyes.

Jimins breathe hitched. He couldn't believe what came over him. The Jeon Jungkook liked him back, his crush. The one he was longing for. He was so lost in thoughts that he didn't hear Jungkook's question about accepting him as a mate. 

''And?'' Jungkook asked bringing Jimin back to reality.

''Sorry?'' Jimin asked confused.

''Your answer?'' Jungkook asked.

''My answer?'' Jimin asked dumb-founded.

''Do you accept me as your mate?'' Jungkook chuckled.

''Of course I do!'' Jimin gasped. He couldn't believe Jungkook was actually asking him. Who wouldn't accept Jeon Jungkook as their mate?

''Thank you.'' Jungkook smiled. ''So do I have your permission to kiss you again?''

''Y- yes.'' Jimin blushed. 

Jimin stood on his tip toes and met Jungkook halfway who smashed their lips on each other again. It was not joke that there was a red string pulling at them, for them to be together. They felt it in their hearts, they were cheering of happiness to have finally found each other. An angel and a vampire, bound to be together. Jimin always saw himself as not enough for anyone, but to Jungkook, Jimin was enough, always had been and would be forever. They were mates, soulmates, partners for life. 

Jungkook pulled away from the kiss, a string of saliva still bonding the two. Jimin looked away being embarrassed. Jungkook laughing and cutting the string of saliva with his finger. They really had an invisible red string attached to each other.

''Don't you ever dare to say that you are not enough for me okay?''  Jungkook said stern cupping Jimin's face.

Jimin nodded. 

''Because you are MY beautiful baby, MY ethereal angel. You have been and always will be enough. God I've been longing for you for so long.'' Jungkook said.

''Then why were you ignoring me at school?'' Jimin pouted.

''He is truly so cute. Look at his cute lips''  Jungkook thought.

''I didn't want my friends to bother you. I knew they would tease the hell out of us. It will probably still happen though.'' Jungkook said honestly. 

''O- okay..'' Jimin said. ''So.. we're mates now? Soulmates?'' 

''We are.'' Jungkook smiled. ''Ready to do this?''

''More than ready.'' Jimin smiled.
