Enough

My heart started beating faster, my eyes looking everywhere, where was he? Was this really happening? Was I enough to deserve a mate? Was it time?  What about rejection? What if my mate is ugly? What if my mate thinks I am ugly? Will I be accepted?...

''Babe what do you mean you know who his mate is?'' Taehyung asked Yoongi.

''Oh come on you know it too.'' Yoongi laughed.

Jimin looked confused at him.

''Your mate is looking at you now, so you better start looking around.'' Yoongi teased. 

Jimin carefully started looking around. He saw a lot of creatures already kissing and cuddling with each other, they had already found their mate. Jimin felt disappointed but Yoongi kept encouraging him to look better around. 

His eyes at last went to the vampire table. He saw how girls were still all over Jungkook and his friends. Jungkook already had found his mate and he felt even more disappointed now. Even though he thought the vampire was a jackass, he still felt attracted to him. Now knowing that he already had found his mate hurted him. 

''No one is looking at me Yoongi.. sorry that was not a funny joke.'' Jimin said sad and walked away. 

Taehyung wanted to follow his best friend but Yoongi held him back, saying that Jimin needed some alone time. Jimin walked deeper into the park, entering the forest that was attached to the park. It had already been 1,5 hours and Jimin still had no one. Most of the creatures were already paired up. Jimin started to believe he was not worthy of a mate, not worthy of anyone. He felt ugly, stupid and mostly pitied himself. Tears started rolling down his cheeks. His friends had already found their mate and here Jimin was standing in the middle of nowhere in the forest, all alone, no mate on his side. He could better just abandon himself from the community then walking back without a mate, he didn't want to embarrass his parents. But mostly himself. 

Jimin didn't hear the footsteps behind him approaching him because of his sobs only being audible. 

''I don't think this is a place for an angel to be alone at this hour hmm?'' he heard a voice say behind him. He flinched and widened his eyes and immediately turned around only to be met with him. 

Jungkook.

Standing a meter away from him. 

He quickly dried his tears and stared at Jungkook. The moonlight accentuating Jungkook's face, his jawline and cheekbones clearly visible. His beautiful eyes sparkling, his pink lips slightly apart. He looked very handsome and Jimin didn't notice he was holding his breathe all this time. He trembled a bit since Jungkook was looking very intimidating at him. He didn't know what to expect from Jungkook's appearance here, what was he doing here in the first place?

''W- what are y-you doing here.'' Jimin stuttered. 

''What are you doing here?'' Jungkook asked back.

''Nothing that concerns you.'' Jimin said looking at his feet. He didn't know how to feel anymore. He felt embarrassed for looking so ugly in front of his crush now, tears all over his face, red puffy eyes. And the fact that he hasn't found his mate tonight. Life was not co-operating with him. 

''I think it does concern me what my mate is up to right?'' Jungkook said, a slight amuse heard in his voice. 

Jimin looked up to him, confusion visible on his face. ''Did he just say mate?''

''W- what do you m-mean with mate?'' Jimin asked carefully. 

Jungkook didn't hesitate and walked towards Jimin, wrapping his arms around Jimin's hips looking down at the small angel. Jimin blushed and faced away from Jungkook, he felt extremely shy but had a hint at what was happening right now. Was it really happening?

''Look at me Jimin-ssi'' Jungkook said with a low voice.

Jungkook grabbed Jimin's chin and lifted his head up, so they were both looking at each other.

And there it was. Both their eyes were sparkling, Jungkook's eyes flashing a red color and Jimin a grey/white color. They had officially linked.
