"E-excuse me? Who are you?" Konoha felt a little uncomfortable as the girl slid her entire hand up his shoulder. "I'm Kaneko, I was in your class last year." Kaneko smiled. "So? You're trying to make Kurihara-chan jealous?"

She gave his collar a little tug and added. "You two just got together only a few months ago, and yet you doubt her?" Konoha shook his head. Kaneko opened her mounth to speak, when a hand flicked hers off Konoha's shoulder.

"Hey, get your grimy hands off my sisters' boyfriend, bitch." Behind Konoha, stood his kouhai, Akaashi Keiji.

Konoha felt a wave of relief flood over him. He ran and took sides with Keiji, and faced Kaneko, who looked astounded.

"Akaashi-kun, why do you care what I do with your sisters' boyfriend?" She placed a cliche hand on her hip and put her weight on the other leg. Keiji's hand curled into a fist, but he took a deep breath and let go.

His eyes became calm, like the calm before a storm, and he looked Kaneko right in the eyes. "Everything." He said simply. Her gaze flickered from Keiji to Konoha, then back to Keiji. It was unsteady, and she walked away.

Konoha held his breath as the younger male turned to look at him. Keiji's eyes were different now, they were dark. "If you ever find yourself looking at another girl other than my sister, I'll make sure you never get into another relationship ever again."

Konoha held his gaze for a moment. "Understood. But I wasn't actually planning on... you know-."

Akaashi looked like he didn't want to hear it. "I don't care if you pretend or not, my sister is sensitive in all kinds of ways, and she wouldn't even bother for an explanation if she found out about this, you're gone." Akinori frowned a little. "You're scary when you're angry, Keiji."

He left the older alone in the hallways, a little stumped. Time passed by, and it was time for everyone to return home. The volleyball team stayed for practice.
