It had been a few weeks and Ben was up early cooking breakfast for his family and he heard Miranda walking down the steps.
"Good morning beautiful" Ben said as he licked his lips.
"Thank you honey" she said as she tried to give Ben a kiss but he swerved out of her way.
"I was actually talking to myself but you look good to honey."
"I ought to slap the black off of you right now."
"Dang woman didn't think me joking would cause so much ruckus."
"It doesn't I just like to see her a little aggravated with me" Miranda said as she rubbed Ben's chest.
"Yeah ok anyway I'm gonna wake up the kids and you can eat breakfast" Ben said as he rubbed Miranda's back and jogged upstairs.
Miranda grabbed a plate and put some eggs, bacon, and a waffle on it. Once she sat down she rubbed her pregnant belly and seen the kids come down but didn't see Ben.
"Hey guys where is your dad" asked Miranda while taking a bite of her food.
"I think he went to the bedroom because someone called him" Tuck said grabbing a plate.
"Ok, just wondering because I don't want his food to get cold."
Miranda finished her breakfast and so did the kids but Ben never came downstairs to eat. Miranda and Tuck cleansed the dishes while the twins went to put up some of their laundry.
"Thanks for helping me Tuck, I'm gonna go check on Ben and see why he didn't come down to eat."
"No problem mom, how much are you gonna pay me" Tuck asked while holding out his hand.
"You have a roof over your head isn't that enough" Miranda said throwing a towel down on the counter.
"I guess."
"We'll go find something useful to do."
"I'm going to the mall with some friends if you're ok with that" Tuck asked with a grin.
"Yeah that's fine just be home by 2 this afternoon and let me know your gone before you leave."
"Sure thing mom."
One Miranda and Tuck's conversation ended Miranda went upstairs to check up on Ben. When she walked up to her room she heard Ben talking to someone on the phone. When she opened the door he hung up real quick. She was a little bit concerned on who Ben was talking to but shrugged it off because it could have been someone at the hospital.
"Why didn't you come downstairs for breakfast honey" Miranda asked while going to make up the bed.
"I had already ate before you came down their and I wanted to come down there but it was Avery and I have to go in today". Ben said as he walked to Miranda to kiss her belly.
"That sucks I really wanted to spend time with you on our day off."
"I did to but we can later on tonight, if you know what I mean" Ben exclaimed with a wink.
"Quit being nasty Benjamin Warren."
Ben had got dressed to go into work and out the door he went. Miranda wasn't sure what to do today but she figured she might take the twins to a trampoline park.
"Christian, Cyrus come here" Miranda shouted.
"Yeah mom" Christian said as he opened her door with Cyrus on his heels.
"You guys want to go to a trampoline park."
"Oh yeah when are we gonna leave" asked Cyrus.
"Once you guys get ready."
"Ok mom" the twins said.
Once they all got dressed and ready to go, Miranda heard got a phone call, it was Ben.
"Hey Miranda where are you at" Ben asked with a croak in his voice.
"I'm at home with the twins, what's going on Ben."
"Honey you might want to sit down."
"Ben if you don't just spit it out, I'm gonna reach through this phone and you know I'm not even gonna say" Miranda said with an attitude.
"Miranda I'm being serious you probably need to sit down."
"Ok fine what is it Ben."
"Tuck has been..." Miranda dropped her phone to the floor and rushed to her car with the twins.
