The Day After

Ben, Callie, and Miranda were all still asleep at 12 o'clock this afternoon. Miranda saw sunshine peak through the window curtain so she woke up.
"Good afternoon" Miranda said as she kissed Ben on the lips.
"Is it really the afternoon" Ben asked rubbing his eyes.
"Yes it is and how is my very very hungover husband feeling."
"Well I have a very bad headache but another kiss from you would make it feel better."
"Ok fine" Miranda said as she pulled him in for another kiss.
"Miranda why are you naked."
"Before we went to bed I took of my clothes but never put any back on and do you even remember anything from this morning or last night" Miranda asked pulling the sheets over her breast.
"Nothing at all" Ben said while rubbing her arm.
"Well here are two of my favorite highlights. Number 1 is we had sex in a club bathroom and number 2 is when we got home you started crying because you were hungry."
"Wait I had sex and cried all in one night."
"Basically." Miranda said rubbing Ben's head to make him feel better.
"And I also forgot to add that when got home, you wouldn't get out of the Uber and I had to bribe you with cuddle time".
"Well that was some night and I wouldn't mind some cuddle time now" Ben said as he moved a piece of hair away from her eye.
"Ok but first let me go check on Callie."
Miranda wrapped up in a blanket to go upstairs to check on Callie but when she went up there she never found her so she assumed she had all ready left to go home. So Miranda called her and Callie did leave this morning. Miranda put on some clothes while she was upstairs then went back to the foldout couch.
"How is Callie doing" Ben asked Miranda as he pulled her into him, so he could hold her in his arms.
"Well apparently she left early this morning and I didn't know."
"Me neither, at least she was quieter when she left than when she first got here" Ben said while laughing.
"True but what are we going to do for the twins birthday and what are we going to get them."
"Well I was thinking that we could tell them we bought a house and we could maybe get them a trampoline for the new house and they each get and bike" Ben said as he stroked Miranda's hair.
"Yeah that's a good idea and we need to put our house on the market though asap" Miranda said popping the p.
"Why don't we talk to our realtor about that today after I take some Advil and I still can't believe I cried last night because I was hungry."
"Yeah it was definitely a sight and we need to go pick up the kids" Miranda said as she went upstairs to get ready.
After they got ready, they headed to Jackson's house to get the kids and tell them about the house they bought.
-Knock Knox Knock-
"Hey Ben I was just telling the kids to get their stuff together" Jackson said while him and Ben did a handshake.
"Thanks so much man, I hope they weren't a burden."
"Nah it's ok, we shot some hoops, played some video games, and ate pizza and went to bed. I'm not supposed to be telling you this but Tuck met a girl he really likes and I thought I would give you a heads up."
"Ight thanks again man and I'll return the favor with Harriet one day" Ben said with a smirk.
"Bye uncle Jackson" the boys said simultaneously.
"Bye guys see you around."
Once Ben and the boys got into the car they said that they had a surprise for them.
"Hey guys so me and your mom have a superset for you, we bought a new house" Ben said waiting for an answer.
"Cool" Tuck said with little enthusiasm.
"Is this like an early birthday present for me and Christian" asked Cyrus.
"Sort of but not really" Miranda said with an skewed look on her face.
Once they got back home they all relaxed and watched a movie, they had popcorn, candy, and some sodas. Once it was 10 o'clock the movie had ended and everyone made their way to the bedrooms. Miranda and Ben had got settled when they heard their door creep open.
"Mommy can me and Cyrus sleep in your bed with you and daddy" asked Christian with a puppy dog face.
"Why aren't you and Cyrus capable of sleeping in your own bed" Miranda replied
"Tuck told us a scary story and now we're scared, so can we please sleep with you guys tonight."
"Well if your going to sleep with us tonight shut the door and turn out the light" Ben said as he patted the bed.
Cyrus and Christian both climbed into their parents bed and squeezed in between them.
"Goodnight kids" Miranda said as she was all the way over on her side of the bed.
"Goodnight mom and goodnight dad" the twins said together.
Everyone eventually fell asleep in Ben and Miranda's bed and were peacefully asleep.
