Pain. It was everywhere, consuming my body and clouding my mind. I lay on the bed, my hair completely messed up, and tears still streaming down my face. Tyler was standing next to the bed, fastening his belt.

He looked up at me."You're a damn good screw Sky. We'll do it again sometime. See you at the party." he said, chuckling evilly. I recoiled away from him, wrapping myself in my duvet and trying to block his face from my mind. I hated him so much. He left without saying another word, leaving me with my thoughts. I didn't want to go to the party, where he would be, and decided it was best to avoid going. The more I thought about him, the more I had the urge to vomit. I stood up, my legs becoming numb making it difficult for me to get to the bathroom.

I could barley stand looking at my reflection. My eyes red and puffy, a hickey perfectly placed on my neck. I moved away from the mirror, trying my hardest not to cry again. Filling the bath with water I sat inside the tub, soaking my self in the warm liquid. I ran the soap across my body over and over and over but it didn't make me feel clean. None of this made me clean. So I dried off and got dressed,  hurrying out of the door, looking to distract myself.

The sky was dark, and the air slightly chilly, making me zip up my sweater as far as it could go. I walked aimlessly around London, not caring where I was going, and just walking. I passed countless closed stores and the only thing illuminating the streets were the street lamps, casting a dim light that fit my somber mood perfectly.

Only about ten minutes later, I realized where I was standing. It was Brooklyn's house, and I wondered how I had automatically guided myself to his home. Just when I turned to leave, I heard a curse and a crash, followed by a bush rustling.

"Ow dammit!" A voice rang from the bus pressed against the fence.

"Brooklyn?" I wondered, peering at the bushes. He stumbled out of them, plucking a few leaves from his hair.

"Skylar! It's my best friend Skylar!" He howled, walking towards me with outstretched arms. I grabbed his wrists mid-air, "Are you drunk?" I asked suspiciously.

"No, course not. How's my daisy waisy?" he said, while nodding his head. I sighed. His parents couldn't see him like that. I grabbed him and led him away from his house.

"Ooo where are we going?" He laughed as I pulled him along the side walk.

"I don't know, but you can't go home like that Brooklyn, you're parents would kill you and I kinda don't want you dead." I continued, finding my way into the small park.

"Aww you're so nice, sky." A chuckle escaped him as he moved closer and wrapped his arm around me shoulder. I pushed him off, stepping away from him.

"Oh, look! Swings!" He squealed, before running off and going to sit on one like a child.
"Push me Sky!" He said childishly, and I giggled as lightly pushed him making him swing back and forth.

He squealed with delight as he went higher.
I went to sit down on the other swing next to him.
He suddenly put his feet on the ground, trying to stop, but he lost his balance now toppled face first into the sand underneath the swings.
"Oh god Brooklyn!" I panicked as he lifted his head and spit out some sand.
"Urgh, disgusting! Hey, why weren't you at the party?" He asked, scrunching his face and proving himself up on the same.

"Uh.... I didn't want to go" I stuttered.
"Well what about Tyler? He was there!" He said.
I shook my head, a ringtone filling the empty air.
"Speaking of the devil" he mumbled.
"Heeey, Tyleerr. How's it rolling" His smile quickly turning into a frown.

"Skylar?" He wondered. I started making wild "no" movements with my arms, pleading with my eyes.
"Uhh, no, haven't seen her man. I'll tell her you're waiting for her at home if I see her. Okay bye!" He said, before hanging up. I let out a breath, relieved.

"What did he do?" Brooklyn asked, his tone completely serious. I bit my lip, trying to come up with an excuse. But I didn't say a word I just looked down refusing to make eye contact.

"Skylar! What did he do to you?" He said again, this time anger stringed on his tone.
