Sora--
I opened the card carefully, making sure not to rip it in the slightest. It was a cute pink card with a glitter heart sticker on it. It was from my boyfriend.
I took the letter out of the card and opened it to read it. There it read:
❝ Hey, Sora. ❞
Weird. He never calls me by my actual name.
❝ I am sorry we couldn't spend this Valentine's together this year but this university has always been my dream, even if it is far away from you. I have to tell you something that might hurt more than me being far away, though. At my university, I met someone. She is in the same major as me, and as I began to talk to her more I realized I had fallen for her. I may have asked her out today.. and she said yes. I hope you take this well. It's not like we can't still be together, y'know? ❞
"What the YG." I whisper under my breath, "It's not like we can't still be together? What nonsense is that.." I was too in shock to comprehend that tears were now falling from my cheeks.

I shouldn't cry about him, he doesn't deserve me, and that poor girl probably has no clue from the last sentence he wrote. Unless she didn't care like him. Well, wouldn't that make them perfect for each other?
"Sora?" I hear a voice call behind me. "Oh Sora?"
I wiped the tears from my cheeks and turned around, "Yes?"
"I was just wondering if you were planning on leaving. Work already finished."
"Oh, yeah. I am." I say as my co-worker heads out in front of me. I looked back behind one last time to see the black fleece jacket I had made for him.
