"I refuse."
"Sora, please!" Jennie begs me, "It will be a great opportunity for you!"
"Anyone but him," I whine.
"I know you may not like him, but by doing so, you will get to see what the modeling industry is like and meet a whole bunch of other models, maybe even future customers." Jennie paused to smile for a second as if imagining the luxury she would soon be living in, "Plus, you might get some ideas for the runway show."
The last part sparks my attention, "Okay, I will do it."
"Yay!" She claps, "I knew I could trust in you. Now, it is already past work hours, and I kept you here long enough, so make sure to get some rest because your work starts tomorrow."
It felt like I had just spat out my imaginary drink. "T-Tomorrow?"
"Yes, tomorrow. The early bird gets the worm."
"I thought you said this wasn't a kindergarten class."
"Don't make me want to punch you. Now, get home safely and have fun tomorrow. No need to check into work before you leave."
Have fun was what I was least expecting to do.
