CHAPTER 6.

Kyoshi quickly turned back into her air bending stance. "We must hurry!!"

A few synchronized movements from the air benders and soon they were creating large gusts of wind, trying to propel the enormous chunk of land away from Air Temple Island and Republic City.

It took a moment for the island to move, Kyoshi and Aang were doubling their efforts with every passing minute.

"Kyoshi If you burn yourself out you cannot possible contain Korra!!" Aang shouted. She knew it was either endanger all those people, or get that island away from everyone, even if it meant tiring herself out. Kyoshi took a deep breath in, pulled her arms back and tucked her elbows in tight, and quickly threw them forward, tripling the wind. Aang gave her a nod, understanding that whatever the avatar did, was most likely for the best. Tenzin glanced at the Earth Bending Avatar, seeing her double her efforts, he immediately knew, they had to do better to get this done in time. "IKKI, MEELO, JINORA, PHASE 5!!!"

The children glanced back,  clearly in shock and out of breath.

"PHASE 5? ARE YOU SURE DAD?" Jinora yelled

He replied with a stern nod. The siblings shared a determined look between each other and turned to give their father a reassuring nod. The air the children were bending quickly became bigger, giving Aang a run for his money. Ikki and Meelo shifted direct the air into Jinoras, creating an air jet even bigger then Kyoshi's and Aangs. Suddenly the three gave it their all, pushing the limits in their bending.

"Almost There Everyone!!! Just a little more!!" Kyoshi yelled.

As soon as Air Temple Island was out of view, Kyoshi called for the air benders to stop. Feeling herself Collapse to the ground from exhaustion. Aang rushed over to her. Kyoshi felt her eyes growing heavy, and the world going black. "Aang- Lin can handle her. She can calm her down." Kyoshi whispered. Aang gave her a shaky nod. Not understanding how the lady he called his niece could possibly calm the enraged Avatar. He was quickly pulled out of his thoughts by Roku calling for everybody to get on the sides or behind the pillars for cover.

Everyone was about to see a different side to their Avatar.

Everyone had already taken cover, splitting into small groups to protect each other, but Lin was still holding Korra. Refusing to let her go until she was fully conscious.

"Please Chief Beifong, you mustn't be near The Avatar when she is awake, you could be hurt." Roku warned.

"I don't care. I'm not leaving or letting her go until she's awake." Lin growled.

He frowned and was about to continue pleading when Aang called for him, telling him what Kyoshi had said. They shared the same look but nonetheless lifted Kyoshi and moved her behind the air benders.

Korra slowly opened her eyes, she blinked a few times to clear her vision. Unable to identify the figure hovering over her.

"Korra, Korra can you hear me? Its me, Lin." Lin pleaded, brushing the young girls hair out the way.

The others watched a new side of Lin Beifong that they had never seen before. Everyone knew those two loved each other, and team avatar tried many a times to get them together. All failing of course. Bht they never got to see the way Lin was with Korra when the doors were closed. Or when Lin had to bunk with Korra when the entire team would have "Bonding days." Or even holidays. Everyone still did not know what to expect from Korra when she woke up. Not understanding what was really happening, except for the past Avatars.
