Sorry if this is really bad, it's my first time writing so Imma just start this now. K bye cya once I'm done writing this damn prologue.
Marinette's POV:
"Now I know today is the day you all have been waiting for. The day we find out who the Triwizard champions are!! First we have Jason Todd from Ilvermony!!" Dumbledore said.
I've been nervous about this day for so long, it's honestly freaking me out!! I kind of regret putting my name in the Goblet of Fire now. To be honest I'm not really surprised that Jason Todd of all people in Ilvermony was the champion, I mean he is the best seeker in the world. It also had to be one of the Wayne's I mean nobody else could have been a champion in Ilvermony. I just hope that if Fleur is the champion that she wins, she deserves to win this Tournament. But I'm completely sure that she's going to be the champion for Beauxbatons, she's amazing at everything after all. I'm just scared for her if she is the champion, I heard that some people have died during this, I don't want that for Fleur. I kept thinking about random things until someone's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"The Beauxbatons champion isssss................ Marinette Dupain-Cheng!!!!!!" I heard Dumbledore say.
Wait- did he say Marinette Dupain-Cheng?!?!? AS IN ME?!?!?
"Ms.Dupain-Cheng please stand up and join Mr.Todd in the champion's room where we will explain more about the tournament."
Dumbledore said while looking directly into my eyes, I slowly stood up and started walking towards the staff table until a familiarly snobby voice made me stop.
"UM MR.DUMBLEDORE!!!!!!" The voice screeched.
"Yes Ms.Rossi what is it???" Dumbledore said.
"I THINK YOU READ THE NAME WRONG!!!! I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE CHAMPION FOR BEAUXBATONS, NOT MARI-BITCH!!! SHE'S A BULLY SHE ISN'T SUPPOSED TO BE THE CHAMPION!!!!!" Lie-la shouted.
"I'm sorry Ms.Rossi but I do not believe I read the name incorrectly, thank you for your concern though." Dumbledore said calmly.
"THEN THE GOBLET MUST HAVE CHOSEN THE WRONG NAME!!! MARI-BITCH MUST HAVE TRICKED IT INTO CHOOSING HER!!!!!!" The liar screeched.
"Lila I couldn't have possibly tricked the goblet, it's an insanely powerful object, no student could bewitch or trick an object of that power." I said to Lie-la.
"YOU'RE LYING AGAIN!!!" She screamed at me.
"Professor Snape, I believe you are quite talented in legilimency, can you please tell Lila if I am lying or not???" I asked.
(Yes I did indeed look up how to spell legilimency because I forgot how to spell it.)
"Ms.Rossi, I believe that you are the liar here, I have checked Ms.Dupain-Cheng's mind she has not lied about anything, I checked your mind too, it seems you have lied about many things." Professor Snape said after a few minutes.
"NO!! NO NO NO NO, NO!!!!!!!!!!" Lila screeched at the top of her lungs.
"Professor Dumbledore, I think I should go now." I said slowly.
"Just make sure you end up in the champion's room where we will explain more to you about the tournament and the rules." Dumbledore said.
"Yes sir." I said and walked out of the room and entered the champion's room to await the professors.
A few minutes later a handsome boy who's name I think is Cedric Diggory, I'm not quite sure, going to have to ask his name later, entered the room.
"Alright so, we're the champions???" I asked.
"Yes, I believe so. Marinette, right?" The handsome boy said.
"Yes, you're Cedric Diggory, correct?" I asked him.
"Correct." he said and we left it at that.
"You're Jason Todd right??" Cedric asked Todd.
"Yes, I don't really wish to be here though, I honestly just wanted to be here to annoy and spite my brothers, more specifically Demon Spawn who thinks he's better than everyone else." Todd says.
"It's not very nice to call someone Demon Spawn you know." I told him.
"He doesn't care, it's just his nickname, Pixie Pop." He said to me.
"Oh so I get a nickname now??" I asked.
"Yep, you shall be Pixie Pop from now on." He said.
That was when I heard the great hall go silent. Another boy, specifically Harry Potter walked in.
"Wait why are you here??" I asked him.
He mumbled something I didn't catch.
"What was that??" I said.
"Somehow my name came out of the goblet. I don't know how, I swear!! It just came out, I didn't even ask anyone to put it in, I don't even know how my name was put in the goblet!!! It just came out!!" He said while looking very panicked.
"Hey, it's okay, I'm not here to judge you. Calm down, it was probably a mistake, but look at it this way, now Hogwarts has twice the chance of winning the tournament. That's a good plus to this right?? Just look on the bright side of this." I told him, trying to calm him down.
Then the professors barged in, and started bombarding Harry with questions, I sadly didn't catch any of them.

Okay so I'm actually really proud of this prologue, I feel like it's definitely gonna help me really start this story, so Yay!! Again I do take constructive criticism but I do not take hate so if you don't like this story, don't comment that you don't like it, just move on. But if I make a spelling mistake or grammar mistake, please correct me, don't let it go unnoticed. I do realize that this is pretty short so next chapters will probably be longer but this chapter was 852 words without this Author's note so, not very long.
