Paul and some of the tour crew members pulled up close to us in a truck. Once the truck stopped, Paul jumped out immediately and came over to us to start scolding.
"Where have you lot been?! We've been looking everywhere for you! You have a concert in London in seven hours and-" he started, but he stopped when he saw the state that everyone was in. The boys looking terrified, and me on the ground crying. Of course I stopped when Paul jumped out of the car, but that doesn't mean that there weren't still tears running down my face. Paul immediately started feeling awkward.
"Oh- um..." was all he was able to get out before going silent again. Everyone was silent, except for Liam. His lips weren't moving, but his mind was going bonkers. I still haven't figured that out yet, but what was going on now was a little more important. After a few moments, Paul sighed.
"I don't know what in the bloody hell happened here, but we'll figure it out later. Right now, I want all of you to get your irresponsible bums in this van right now so that we can get to the hotel on time." he said in an agitated tone. He must be after coming all this way to find us. I wiped my face before standing up and making my way to the van. Niall caught up with me and tried to take my hand, but I just ripped it out of his grip. I could feel the heartbroken energy around him, but at the moment, I didn't really care.
We rode to the hotel in silence. Well, except the fact that Paul was giving us a heated lecture. I didn't pay much attention, though. I just looked out the window while the other boys looked at their laps in shame. I felt ashamed too, of course. But I just wasn't in the mood to react in any way.
Once we got to the hotel, I immediately asked Paul where our rooms were. He seemed like he wanted to start scolding me, but he could tell that I wasn't in the best mood for that, so he just told me and handed me a key. We were already checked in, so we didn't need to wait for anything. I hopped out of the van and ignored the fans on my way inside, which is something I never do. I'm always interactive with the fans, but I just couldn't handle them at the moment. The other boys and Paul followed me inside shortly after.
The sudden rush of heartbeats and rushing blood hit me, but I wasn't as affected by it as I thought I would be. Probably because I had so much of it while at that pub. My hunger wasn't invading my senses, which wasn't really the case for the rest of the boys. I looked over my shoulder for a quick glance and saw Harry and Louis's red eyes. Liam and Zayn had to continuously keep them at bay, while Niall was to down in the dumps to really care. I just turned back around and went into the elevator, not bothering to wait for anyone else.
Since I had my own individual room, I went straight to the door and opened it with the key, slamming it behind me once I was fully inside. I was a filthy mess, so I decided to hop in the shower quickly and change into something comfortable for the ride to the venue. They always had outfits for us to change into backstage, so it didn't really matter what I wore there for the soundcheck.
We didn't have much time to do anything else other than change and possibly shower, so once I was fully dressed, I was getting my shoes back on and getting ready to head out the door. But before I could get to it, someone was knocking on it softly. I sighed to myself before going to answer it.
The person standing there just had to be the last person I wanted to see.
