The most wonderful smell filled the air around us. We could all smell whatever it was from miles away. The feeling kept growing and growing before Louis got up off the ground, his eyes now glowing an evil and sinister red.

"I'm not gonna sit here any longer. I don't know about you lot, but I'm bloody starving. I'm gonna see what that smell is." he said harshly. He sounded nothing like his normal self. Suddenly, he took off at an incredible speed. Zayn and Liam were quick to get on their feet and follow behind at the same speed. Then Niall and Harry ran as well, leaving just me. A small part of me knew this wasn't right, but I didn't have enough control to stop myself. I stood up and licked my lips hungrily before taking off behind the boys.

When I got to where the smell was coming from, my stomach rumbled loudly. But the sweet smell that I thought was food was actually something totally different.

It was people.

There was a squabble going on outside of a flat building. There were 14 people there. The boys, myself, and the group of eight people that were fighting when we got there. However, I arrived late to the party.

The boys were already on top of the people, sucking them dry. Their red eyes were glowing bright with hunger. This sight would usually horrify me, but I was aroused. I was starving, and this was my source of food. Nobody was gonna get in the way of that. Having that thought in mind, I made my attack on one of the men.

The two people that weren't currently being drained dry were trying to fight off Niall and Liam. That didn't go so well for them. Niall was swift to break one of the men's legs while Liam grabbed one of the other's arm, twisting it to an unnatural angle. They both screamed out, falling to the ground. Zayn was quick to take one of the men, Louis and Harry also going after him to fight over the man.

I instantly went for the other man, easily picking him up. My height and newfound strength helped me hold him up. Then I was stopped.

"Wait one fucking second. Who says you get to have the last one?" Niall growled angrily. I hissed at him and growled back.

"I say so. Don't do something you'll regret now." I challenged him, a smirk on my face. Liam stood from his place and pinned me against a wall, the man falling to the ground. He looked me straight in the eyes, not looking up or down since we were the same height. He sneered at me, his eyes glowing brighter with hatred.

"No, maybe you shouldn't do something that you'll regret. You're not gonna be the one that gets that last sack of food." he stated through gritted teeth. I easily switched positions and slammed Liam against the same wall.

"Liam, sweetie, is that a challenge I sense coming from you? If so, I wouldn't advise that." I said with a sinister smirk. We both started getting worked up and were about to start attacking each other when something shocking happened.

A loud voice started ringing in my head, and it wasn't the soothing one from earlier. It was a much more commanding voice, and boy, was she loud.

"Don't do it! Snap out of it now!" she shouted. There was something about how she sounded, though. It made me instantly clutch my head and scream out, falling to my knees on the cold, hard ground. Liam must've heard it as well, since the same thing happened to him simultaneously.

My head felt like it was splitting open, like there was a literal fight going on inside my head. It was so excruciatingly painful. It caused me to black out for a minute or two. Suddenly, I felt someone shaking me and telling me to wake up. The person sounded severely distressed. I opened my eyes slowly, only to see that Liam was the person trying to get me to wake up. He was really relieved when he saw me open my eyes. He pulled me into a tight hug and looked at me when he was done. I gasped at what I saw.
