It had been a week since the umbrella academy came back to 2019 and their dinner with Reginald Hargreeves. Everyone stayed with their own kind, except for their number 7's who became tolerable acquaintances, Allison and Luther started to build their relationship back up again though she wasn't ready to give up her most likely dead husband Ray which makes her divorced twice and first husband doesn't even know she exists, Klaus' drug/alcohol problem has now gotten a bit better since he has Diego to drink with and five stayed in his little closet heaven. Everyone was busy keeping to themselves, they don't keep close with him like usual. Five has tried to talk to the female five multiple times, in which the umbrella academy has given her the nickname "ten" since she is a ten out of ten, would not be friends with ever. Of course, five wanted to know more about her, he wanted to be near her. This all made him feel sick to his stomach considering she's annoying and a brat.

It was Tuesday night and the sparrow academy were just sent downstairs, as long as they stayed there, Reginald didn't care what they were up to, but mostly because he gave up and knew he was outnumbered 7 to 1. Five crawled out of his little room again at around 9:30pm and decided to raid Allison's room for cash since she was the one in charge of keeping track of it. He blinked from his closet to her room 2 doors down then inside her closet and reaches for a pink jewelry box, "Sweet!" He whispered and took out a few $5 bills from it then he put in back on the shelf above him and blinked to the front entrance. "Where are you going?" He heard a voice and turned to see ten, though she was wearing jeans and a red t-shirt under a black jacket walking around in black boots instead of her usual sparrow academy attire. "I could ask you the same thing." She looked away from him, "Look, I'm not exactly a house cat." She turned back to him. "I can see that." He replies. She bites her lip in embarrassment. "Don't tell dad." She pleads, he tilts his head to the side and smiles, "As long as your buying." They both smile and he holds out his hand, "No need." She rejects and blinks away herself, he laughes quietly to himself and does the same.

They meet up inside Griddy's Café. "Wow." He turns on his heels, "It's weird to see this place less bloody." He takes a seat in a stool in front of him. "Bloody?" She asks, he shakes his head, "The Commission sent assassins after me." She raised an eyebrow and he sighs, "Basically the time-line police, sorry for any confusion." A woman walks in wearing a pink 1950's style waitress uniform, she was a bit on the older side but she looked healthy. "Hey Agnes!" Ten waves at the woman."Late night!" She said and she stopped to look at five, "And who might this fella be?" She said, ten blushed and five smiled, "I go by five." He said, Agnes raised a brow then looked ten. "She's ten." Ten herself looked back at five in confusion but Agnes nods. "Makes sense." She said as she pulled out a note pad and a pen. "Now, what can I get you two?" She asked with a smile, "Coffee, black." He said calmly then she gestured to ten, "Coffee as well but with cream and sugar." Five gagged slightly as the waitress poured the black liquid in two white mugs and placed them in front of them as well with a small bowl filled with sugar and creamer packets."Can I get a glazed donut too?" Ten asked, Agnes grabs plastic tongs and a small dessert plate and places one on it and slids it to ten.

"Thanks!" She says and takes a bite of her donut while five blows on his coffee, "Cream and sugar eh?" He asked, she placed her donut down and grabbed a napkin until five wiped her mouth with his sleeve, she blushed slightly but wiped the corners of her mouth. "Well...sometimes I drink it black." She swallows her bite of donut, "But I'm usually in a piss poor mood to give a shit, as long as I get caffeine. " He nods in response.  "So...what's up with ten?" She asked, he shrugged his shoulders, "Ten out of ten would not mess with or she will kill you with her bare hands." The both laughed and she smiled, "Agnes was right." Five took a sip of his coffee, "It suits you." They both look away with a smile. "Look, I'm sorry for last week when we met and the other times after that." He shook his head at her, "It's not your fault." He says as he attempts to grab his beverage before ten slides it away from his reach. "It is, I was being a super bitch for no reason." He blinks to the other side of her to grab his drink but she slides it the other side, the game goes on for a while till he's back where he start but he reaches towards her without time to think and they are inches away from each other. He pulls away and she hands him his drink and grabs her own and the bowl of coffee condiments. "I should have been a bit more tolerable than I was." He sips his drink, "I should have just minded my own business." She blinks to the other side of the counter and pulls her mug towards her and grabs a spoon. "Well...I'm glad you didn't." She says looking down.

They finish up and ten leaves a $10 bill plus tip then turns to five opening the door. "I'm gonna go the long way." He looks back at ten, "Coming?" She smiles and grabs her jacket and follows him out. "You know the way?" She asks and he rolls his eyes. "Of course I do." He turns left while ten stops. "It's this way." She points to the right, he stops and looks back, "Of course!" She snorts as he pushes her playfully. "I just was testing you." He said and she laughs, "You really didn't know!" She says in between laughes. He takes her hand and they blink home. They both slide their shoes off and go to the stair case on the left. "Well, sneaking out was fun and all but..." She yawns as she slides off her jacket and throws it to five, "I'm pretty tired." Five looked away, "Right." She starts walking upstairs until five pushes his blue blazer on her shoulders. "Night!" He whisper shouts and blinks away. He lands in his room, throws her jacket on his bed, his shoes in his closet, and goes to brush his teeth. He comes back and closes the door quietly then sits on his bed. "Some first impression." He rubs his eyes and curses at himself for him almost kissing ten. If he was going to be honest, he wanted to kiss her but that would make her hate him again.

Ugh! Why do I feel this way? Why am I thinking these things? He thought to himself, his hands slide off his face and he looks at her jacket. He picks it up and hugs it while he flops on his side. "It even smells like her!" He whispers and laughed, not knowing that two floors above him, the one he thinks off saying the same things, cursing at herself for feeling the same way, hugging his own blazer with a smile.
