May 21, 2017 it was the day of the billboard music awards and the boys of bts were getting ready in their private suite.
Their stylist noonas were doing the finishing touches on the boys hair and makeup; the cameramen were moving from one member to another, filming footage for their Bangtan Bombs to show ARMY later on.
The boys were full of excitement and nerves as it was only the second time they've attended the BBMAs, it doesn't help that English isn't a language the boys are fluent in. Even though the boys are slightly overwhelmed, they are honored to be given this opportunity.

As the boys arrived and were on their way to find their designated seats, they bumped into a lot of well known celebrities of the western music industry that they admire. The smiles on their faces never vanished as the boys continued down the hallway.
Everything was going well. The boys were greeting the other artists and making their way through the hallway steadily, until everything around Jungkook seemed to freeze. Out of the corner of his eye, the maknae saw something or better worded as someone; his eyes widened as he tried to find an exit, muttering under his breath.
Taehyung who was nearest to Jungkook noticed the maknae was falling behind. Not wanting to loose Jungkook, Taehyung focused his eyes in the direction the younger member kept looking towards.
Taehyung sucked in a deep breath, and lost himself gazing towards the same person Jungkook got distracted by. The two youngest members helped each other, as they pushed their hyungs so they can hide.
Whatever luck the two youngest members had washed away, as the last remaining member of the maknae line gasped and tugged at Hoseok's arm; pointing in the direction of a person who was in a conversation with someone.
"어머 어머!! 형 저기 봐!!" or in English, "Oh oh!! Hyung, look over there!!" Jimin cried out, as the hyungs looked to see who he was pointing at.
Jungkook and Taehyung latched onto each other, and started to lowkey hyperventilate. The two helped each other look nice and presentable, and kept making subtle glances towards the person.
As the person finished their conversation and gave one last hug, they turned around and made eye contact with the one of boys who were now all looking at her.
The person smiles softly, and the boys were left a little shocked as they look at HER.

Namjoon was the first to smile back at her as the two met in the middle, the boys following after their leader. "Hello it's nice to meet you - actually it's an honor."
The girl smiled, and she gave each member a warm hug. If she had superhuman powers she would know that the boys were exploding in happiness internally, as they finally get to meet her.
She suggested to the seven males thats they should go to the artist lounge to talk properly as the hallways were getting more crowded. The boys made no complaints and followed as the girl led the way.
Once the eight made it inside the artist lounge, everyone relaxed by the couches in the fairly empty room. In the more comfortable setting Namjoon breaks the silence.
"It's so nice to finally meet you. It's really an honor to have another person who is a part of our culture, and spreading more knowledge, become so well known here in the west." Namjoon was speaking in complete English leaving the boys to be confused on what he was saying, although they had a general idea on what he was saying.
"Oh please, you can speak Korean to me. After all I grew up there, and am fluent." The girl said in her native tongue, making the boys go in shock momentarily as they understand her.
Like BTS, the girl was well known in South Korea everyone knows who she is. However in the three minute interviews she attends during music show promotions, there is always a translator there or the MC's ask her the questions in broken English.
She knows the language fluently, the general public forgetting only lived in the states for three years; as she left Gwangju at age 4 and returned at age 7 before debuting in South Korea where she currently resides.
Giggling softly to herself at the boys shocked reactions the girl continues speaking, "Let me introduce myself properly. My name is Park Haneul, and it's also an honor to meet you."
One fact about the girl that for sure was true is that her smile was contagious; and the seven boys fell in love with the angel in front of them.
