Finally back home

Day 12
Its finally time to come back home. Or at least, what I call home. My ship should reach Arch prime in something around 4 hours. I have some time to fill the paperwork and order food for dinner. Living alone has its perks but I sometimes wish that there was someone waiting for me with a warm meal after the mission. Meh, I don't have time for dating. Maybe once I hit the jackpot on some rich planet and settle down... will see. On the more positive note, human finally dared to speak up. It was cute when he politely asked if I could call him by his name instead of just "human". Naturally, I've acted as if he was looking for troubles and bullied the hell out of him. Made my day. But, today's coffe was great soo yea, Jake got his wish granted.

Day 13
After filling all the paperwork and getting permission to land, I've finally reached the planet's surface. Yesterday was a mess due to some politician coming over to make a speech about peace with other species. Heh, kiss my ass. I've had to wait 14 hours for him to finish and fly away. His security blocked the entire star port and caused lots of incidents with the populous. I hate those guys.

After landing, I've wasted no time and headed straight back home. The city was crowded as usual but it didn't bothered me much. I simply pushed some weaklings out if my way and kept going my way. For those who never been to Arch and somehow are reading this journal, the whole planet is one giant city. Rumour has it that Arch was once a space station that simply grew with time until it became one of the biggest planets in the system. Billions of inhabitants are living in "harmony" due to police and military doing their job properly. At least on the higher levels. Go 50 levels below the ground and no law enforcer will be able to stop or help you. Only strong will survive and all that. As for the surface, it's a nice place. Fresh air, sun, skyscrapers that are miles tall and cars flying inbetween them. Standard stuff.

After reaching home, I couldn't help but feel tired. The food I've ordered yesterday was already waiting for me in the mailbox. I've took it out and inhaled the smell of delicious Gahak. Jake's specie would probably call it space octopus. About him! I've took him with me. Obviously, someone needs to make coffe for me at home. Hidden in my pocket, he didn't said a word for the whole ride. I've forgot that outside the ship, he couldn't understand anything that I said. Hell, the street was probably sounding like a bunch of monsters roaring at each other for him. Luckily, I have working network at my place and downloading the translator from my ship took only few seconds. This technology is awesome. After telling him what was up, I placed him on the table and started eating my meal. "Space octopus" was my favourite food and I simply couldn't get enough! In my generosity, I gave a bit to Jake. It's not a big deal. My bite size was enough to fill him up just fine. Obviously, I made him pay for it by making more coffe. Can't have him think that I'm being nice for free.

Day 14
Honestly, nothing really happened today. I've spent most of the day watching holovid and resting on the couch. Being away from home for soo long makes me tired. Luckily, it turned out that you don't have to take humans for a walk like most pets would. Jake kept asking me about bringing him back home. I forgot that he didn't saw how his planet exploded... After telling him in detail everything that happened, he had some kind of a mental breakdown. Honestly, I thought that he would handle it better. It's not like his planet was the first one that got blown into pieces! He crossed the line when that bastard refused to make my coffe. Who does he think he is?! I'm still salty about it even tho I've twisted his arms and brought to tears. Honestly, I could've simply left him there to die. He should've been grateful! He was lucky that today's coffe was good or else I swear he would've been already dead. Ugh! I will just go hit the gym and let out my anger out there. I'm soo done for today anyways.
