Getting to know each other

Day 18
Today, I've decided to go on a walk around town. No particular reason. I just like seeing how things changed while I was gone off world. I've talked with some friends that always hit me up on what I've missed. Nothing especially interesting happened. But they've did opened new oxygen fields in the northern district so yea. I went to see it. Despite his little quiet rebellion, I took Jake along. Letting him breath with fresh air won't hurt. Right?

After getting there, I've simply started enjoying the view. It was calming to see the trees from all across the galaxy in one place. Some were looking more alien then the other. Most of them had green leaves but there were also few blue ones! I like them a lot. As for Jake, he obviously couldn't enjoy the view. He did asked me about where I've took him tho. I teased that I was going to leave him in this forest and let wild animals eat him. He didn't wanted to leave my pocket after that. It was precious.

With that out of the way, I've spent some time on simply watching the blue trees, letting out bubbles of pure oxygen in the distance. It was really calming until someone pesky kids with wings on their backs started popping the bubbles while screaming and laughing. No, I'm not that old and grumpy to yell at them. Yes, I did imagined throwing rocks at one of them. No, I didn't do it, they were out of range.

Anyways, after that, I took my things and moved on. This whole being outdoors made me hungry. I've grabbed some sea food on my way back and had a nice meal. Even Jake had to admit that it was tasty when I've asked him about it.

Day 19
New mission came in and I will be leaving tomorrow. There's a star system that needs to be explored before main fleet's arrival. My mission is to find out if the planets in that system are good enough to fuel the mothership. Another day, another job. Luckily, I can take as much stuff as I want before the big guns arrive! Maybe I will find a friend for Jake? He still won't talk to me unless directly ordered. Is he expecting some kind of apologise?! Over my dead body.

Day 20
A lot had happened today. Mostly related to the takeoff procedures associated with interstellar travel. Basically, I've had to wait for 3 hours until the road for my ship was clear soo that I could hit the big red button and start flying straight towards my target. This time, the journey will take a whole week. 2 weeks if we count the way back home. Luckily, my ship is like my second home so I'm good. There's the other thing tho. Mutiny. Jake doesn't want to even get out of bed on his own. I'm not his parent to deal with those kinds of cchildish behaviours! I've tried to punch some sense into his tiny head but this time he's stubborn. Little bastard knows that I can't go all out on him without Mirion around to patch him up. If he thinks that I won't rough him up because of how much worth he is then he's in for a ride! I have whole 2 weeks to make him into perfect pet. Whole 2 weeks to play with him just like I want~
