It was the day of the trial.

Eren was still in the dungeon, waiting to be picked up by the Survey Crops for his trial that would determine his future. Just last night, the Commander and Captain Levi had come asking questions about his intentions; to make sure they were making the right decision. Now it was the morning of the trial day, and Lizbeth was walking towards the dungeon to give the kid a little speech before his fate would be decided.

She was impressed with how the Commander had guessed the Military Police would want custody over the kid; he had called for her on that day to inform her about his plans and how she and Captain Levi would play an important role in convincing Dhalis Zachary.

Eren's ear perked up, hearing someone walk towards his cell, turning his head to find the said person here; he was face to face with them, their face covered except their eyes.

"Who are you?" he asked, staring up and down at the person's short height.

"It's disrespectful to stare at a woman that way kid, I'm here to give you a few words before they decide to kill you or not." the person answered back.

Removing her cape and mask, Lizbeth stared at Eren with a tiny smile on her face.

Eren was startled; his eyes widened at the sight of the ethereal beauty in front of him. Her silky white hair cascaded down her soldiers, ending where her breasts were. Her light-toned skin looked completely flawless; her blue yet dull eyes were softly staring at him. Although she had a slender and short frame, her muscles were visible through her uniform, making anyone look twice.

Realizing he had been staring for too long, he turned his face to hide the blush that covered his cheeks. "I-I'm sorry." he said.

"It's alright, I'm Captain Lizbeth, I don't know if you ever heard of me, but I'm a part of the Survey Corps under Commander Erwin. I wanted to talk with you before you went to court." she said, dragging a stool to take a seat in front of him.

"O-Okay." he responded.

"You know, when I first saw your titan form, I was really...excited rather than surprised. Seeing a titan fighting with a titan, now that was a sight to see; plus your titan form was pretty hot if I was truthful." she lightly chuckled.

"I know you're probably more scared than you're surprised. After all, you did learn you could shift into what you hated most and swore you would kill. But I'm just here to tell you not to worry and don't be afraid. The world we live in is a cruel, ugly, and horrible place. We who have seen the war never stop seeing it. Now those people out there, they don't know what it's like. They will judge us, judge you for being who you are, and do what we do. But remember, they have no right to do such a thing because they live with comfort inside their walls with their families and loved ones being completely oblivious to what's out there and what we face every time we go out there for humanity's sake. They don't appreciate it, blaming us for wasting their taxes, for killing their loved ones who join us for the sake of humanity. It will hurt to hear those, but get used to it because that's the reality we live in. They will argue about you being a liability and a risk, which they are right at. But we will convince them that this liability, this risk, is the last hope of humanity. And if you ever feel like defending yourself in the court, never apologize for saying what you feel, because that's like saying 'sorry for being real.'" it was the most she ever spoke in a long time, but it was worth it, she hoped the speech she gave would give some hope to the kid, plus it'd been a long time since she was in court she wanted to see a little screaming and arguing.
