It was a beautiful morning and team 7 was waiting for their sensei. Again.
"Hey, I'm sorry I'm late. I just got lost on the path of-"
"DON'T YOU 'got-lost-on-the-path-of-life' ME!! You've been using the same excuse for years Kakashi!! Just stop being so darn late Kakashi!!" Naruto and Sakura shouted. Sasuke was being emo, as usual.
"Okay, anyway, today we're gonna do what we usually do"
"Which is?" Sakura and Naruto questioned Kakashi.
"A bunch of E class missions"
"What?! Not again!" Naruto and Sakura yelled at the top of their lungs.
"Mm....Nya...."
"Eh?" Naruto and Sakura were surprised while Sasuke just quirked an eyebrow, showing some interest.
"Nya... Oh! We reached? Why did ja just keep quiet, Kashi?"
"Kashi? Nya? CAT?! A cat?! We're gonna babysit a cat?! That can talk? A ninja cat? CAT!?" Naruto and Sakura said in turn, but in the end, said it together (or more likely yelled).
"Now, now, calm down, I can explain...."
"Hey! I'm no cat!" exclaimed the voice as something in Kakashi's vest struggled to get out.
And out jumped out...
....a cat.
On Kakashi's head.
:3
"......."
An awkward silence was between all of them as 3 of the chunins sweatdropped. A tumbleweed found its way across them as the wind blew.
"WHAT THE HECK DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE NOT A CAT?! You ARE a CAT!! And a BLACK one at that!"
"I mean, I'M NOT A CAT!! And I'm NOT KURONEKO!! That's not my name!"
"We mean you're A black cat, not your name's black cat! Besides, all in all you're still a cat!!"
"I'M NOT-"
"You haven't transformed back you know. I mean, you were sleeping in my vest." Kakashi informed nonchalantly while reading his book.
"Oh....Oops!"
A puff of smoke appeared around the cat.
"What?" Naruto and Sakura were puzzled as was Sasuke wo still kept a distance.
"Yo!" A girl with red hair in a high ponytail tied up by a yellow ribbon replied.
She wore modern yet simple and stylish ninja clothes which were a mixture of silver chains, a black leather coat/jacket tied around her waist, a dark brown plaited skirt thing (like Sakura's pink skirt thing in Shippuden), a creamy white scarf, a scarlet sleeveless top, short ninja pants with bandages, a plaster on her left cheek and a fish in her mouth which was supposed to be a kunai. Her right eye was closed and her right hand was in a "7" sign, therefore creating a close eyed smile. Her right leg was up while her left leg was folded and on the ground as she was sitting down, her left arm supporting her from the back.
"Long time no see!"
\(>3<)/
"You! You're....!"
"Aren't you....!"
"Hey, isn't that..."
'Hm, looks like I'm not forgotten' the girl thought, smirking to herself while folding her arms together, crossing her legs with a smug look on her face as Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke all said in shock and in turn.
"The legendary cat transforming ninja!" Naruto exclaimed, only getting hit by Sakura as everyone else sweatdropped and an anime vein appeared on the redhead's head.
'I....I take that back' the girl thought, irritated.
"You idiot! What type of reasoning gave you THAT idea?!" Sakura yelled, hitting Naruto.
"Looks like I have underestimated your dumbness yet again, Naruto." Kakashi sighed.
"You," Sasuke said coldly.
"Who?Me?Mói?" the girl asked.
"You look familiar. Have I seen you anywhere before? Perhaps a fight?" Sasuke questioned as he quirked an eyebrow.
"Kakashi" the girl said with a serious and kind of pissed-off emo face.
"Hm?" Kakashi said calmly.
And although he seemed calmed, he wasn't. It was always like this when she called his name properly. It's only then that things become very serious, to the extent that it may cause disaster. In short, Kakashi was pretty serious.
"....I honestly regret coming back, so I'm not going to anymore. From now on, you guys are on your own. I'm not going to bother anymore," she said, boredom in her tone.
Kakashi's eye widened in shock, sensing the tension, Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke could also tell something was wrong and quiet down immediately.
