A tough morning

...everything went black...

I woke up in bed in my cozy little apartment.

I lived in a small apartment about 30 minutes away from the city centre, kind of at the end of the actual city. The location was a combination of the busy life and nature with a forest nearby that brought that peace and fresh air. Not many people live in this area which makes it this much better.

I sat up looking around. I knew where I was but didn't at the same time. Had this really been a dream? I turned around looking at my pillow. I saw it had a couple teardrops lying on it. Storming off to the mirror I realized I was crying. My face was all puffy and red and by seeing my reflection I could see my eyes watering up again by the thought of my missing beauty.

I usually start my morning by making breakfast but today I hurried up to take my sketchbook. I had to draw my lady from what I could remember. My hand was wandering the untouched soft paper. The dark graphite was printing the image of my dream girl as if it was connected to my veins. The sparkling eyes, the creme skin, the plumped lips, the mysterious colored hair with all its waves, the perfect cat eyeliner and rosy cheeks.... So perfect... It couldn't have been a dream, why would my brain do this to me?

I pulled myself together and went in for a shower. The steaming water was running down my bare skin creating the illusion of a comforting hug. I washed off my tears and sorrow. I didn't have any particular plans so staying home felt like my best option. I hydrated my skin and got into my comfy pyjamas preparing myself for some Netflix time.

While opening my pantry's cabinet I realised my snack stock was at zero. Great, the day couldn't have gotten any better. I realized I had to get my ass out and buy some snacks so that's what I did. I didn't feel like dressing so I literally went out with my pyjamas and it's not like you could really tell plus I had my jacket on so it was fine who was I gonna see anyway.

Yeah you always think you won't see anybody but just when you look like absolute garbage you run into people you know. And that's exactly what happened.

I decided to run to the nearest store to get my snacks and I got a shit tone...like... a lot and as I was heading out of the store I was greeted by one really old friend that I met in middle school.

Victoria was a friend of mine that went to the same dance studio that I did when I was a bit younger, we also were in the same class from first to seventh grade, we were very close but as we went to high school we lost touch. She was my best friend. We shared everything with each other and she lived in my grandma's apartment complex. We used to hang out everyday but I realised that in time I was the only one trying to keep our friendship.
