After helping Lin washing the dishes in the coffee shop and a long conversation. Zitao and Jisoo already bid goodbye and left the place to explore the center of the town. Jisoo didn't knew all about his relatives since Zitao or any of her brothers never opened about it much. They live separately and only meet each of them during reunions or gatherings.
Jisoo also found out that Lin happened to isolate herself to the Li for the reason that she doesn't want to be a burden anymore. She doesn't want to depend on the Li even though she knew Dian is a multi-millionaire businessman.
"Uh Zitao?" Jisoo calls.
"Yes Ji?" he turned towards her.
"Uhm... Ji? Oh... I realized Aunt Lin is calling you the same as what you call me." Jisoo is becoming uncomfortable of the nickname because it turns out that she shared the same nickname to Zitao.
The first syllable of their names are actually similar in pronunciation, and Jisoo's Korean name would have the same pronunciation if translated in Chinese.
"Aunt Lin already called me on that nickname since I was a kid. Now I get it, both of us are Ji." Zitao chuckles.
For being with Zitao for almost three to four years, this is the first time that Jisoo heard Zitao laughing. By laughing it means a laugh that makes him sincerely happy, not a laugh that is very irritating. Zitao is a very serious person, so for Jisoo this is really rare.
Jisoo looked up the sky, it's slowly getting dark. It's late in the afternoon and they still haven't go home.
"Uh Zitao? It's slowly getting dark now. Shall we go home?" Jisoo asks.
"Can we stay for a while? I want to take you to a place I've been wanting to visit. I haven't been there since middle school." Zitao pleaded.
"Where is that place Zitao?"
"Somewhere over here, where the tree that gives life to this town." Zitao replied.
"What do you mean? That tree is a source of livelihood of this town?" Jisoo curiously asks.
"No not literally Ji." Zitao chuckles. "It's a figure of speech, which means people in this town believes that the tree gives life to this town because of its own beauty, it adds a wonderful scenery to this town. More like a tourist attraction to be exact."
"Oh I see." Jisoo nodded.
They went to the parking lot and rode over the car. Zitao took Jisoo to a place not far enough from the center of the town hall. It is bounded in a lake that you need to go across to see the huge willow tree.
