It's almost getting late at night, Zitao and Jisoo really did took long enough staying in the rustic house since they have been enjoying the peace and quiet place, they decided not to go home yet. Jisoo also informed her brothers where they are in order for them not to worry about them anymore which indeed they never. Jisoo and Zitao already ate dinner on the nearest food restaurant and returned to the rustic house just before night. They decided to stay overnight in the place and go home at dawn instead since it's hard for them to travel at night.

There is no source of light from the house since it's already old and the electricity is no longer functioning. The only light they have is the emergency flashlight and their phones. It's already dim inside so while walking, Jisoo are groping elsewhere with her phone that serves as a light, while Zitao is searching for the old lamp. He lit it using his lighter and carries it along with them up stairs.

The place looked like a total haunted house in the dark, Jisoo is so uncomfortable of this as she can hear eerie and creaking sounds coming elsewhere.

"Z-Zitao? W-where are you?" Jisoo called for Zitao when she looked over and Zitao was no longer on her sight. "Z-Zitao? I-I'm getting scared now... where are you?"

She slowly walked over the area to search for Zitao but no sign of him. Because it is dimmer, it's hard for her to look for Zitao. She is about to go down stairs and look for him, thinking that Zitao might went down since she couldn't see him around the attic.

When she moved the emergency light to one place it points over something that made Jisoo scream out loud, getting scared when it points over the scary gargoyle.

"Jisoo? What happened?" Zitao finally showed up, running towards her.

"I-I... I wa frightened... I-I thought i-it is..." Jisoo says whiel covering her eyes.

Zitao seemed to get what Jisoo is referring to, the gargoyle displayed near the stair case. "Ugh, that gargoyle is still there!"

Zitao groans. He took out a long cloth to cover the gargoyle that made Jisoo frightened. It is really frightening to see especially in the dark.

"I'm sorry Ji... I shouldn't have left you." Zitao sighs. "I was about to take some spare blankets that we can use."

"I-it's okay..." Jisoo nodded.

Zitao placed his arms on Jisoo's back as they entered one room. "The other rooms are filled with cobwebs especially the beds, I hope you don't mind if we can share in one room? Don't worry, I'd be staying on the long couch over there."

"I don't mind." Jisoo says.

"Alright, you might as well go to sleep now. Good night."

"Good night to you too Ji." Jisoo smiles.

Jisoo already decided to lay down on the bed while Zitao lays on the couch.

"Are you sure you'll be fine there? The couch is too small for you and you might be uncomfortable, we can exchange." Jisoo asks Zitao.

"I'll be fine here Ji, don't worry. Let's sleep now." Zitao assures her.

"Okay..." Jisoo nodded.

She is about to shut her eyes closed but a creaky sound bothers her a lot. "W-what was that?"

"It's nothing, probably just a wood creaking... you know this house is old." Zitao replies.

"Oh no!" Jisoo heard another creaking sound again. "I guess I couldn't sleep with this creaking sound... It scares me."
