"Really? What a coincidence." Duda looked at Jisoo with a meaningful smile, which the latter didn't like. "Right Jisoo?"
She somehow felt uncomfortable with Duda's smile since it means something that she wouldn't want to see. Jisoo does not feel good about Duda at all. She was also uncomfortable the second time they talked, especially since Disha and Amyra introduced Duda to her now. Jisoo is not comfortable with this woman and at first glance she felt like Duda might do something bad and the fact that her smile is obviously forced and plastic. Jisoo is aware of it.
Duda decided to order food for herself while having a conversations with the two girls who happened to be her cousins. Jisoo on the other hand is waiting for Xiaotong's reply. Now Jisoo is wondering why Xiaotong was not able to reply to her, she even tried to contact Dilireba or Luhan or Yixing but got no reply.
"Jisoo? You seemed unease." Disha asks with a worry as she looks at Jisoo.
"Oh... my friend was not able to reply yet." Jisoo replies.
"You can stay with us for now don't worry." Amyra says.
"That's right Jisoo. You can stay here while waiting for you friends." Duda looked at Jisoo and flashed a very wide smile. "Don't worry... you'll be fine with us."
"O-Okay... then?" Jisoo slowly nodded.
"Jisoo, you're from South Korea are you?" Duda asks her all of a sudden.
"Yes, I was born there." Jisoo replied.
"Is that it? But why are you here in China then?" Duda slowly make a nod with almost a disgust on her face.
"My mom remarries a Chinese businessman, my stepfather... and that is how I decided to move into this country." Jisoo narrates.
"Oh... I see... you're very fluent in Chinese." Duda compliments her but deep inside she's not really impressed. "Unlike me, I've been here for almost 10 years but still not fluent in Chinese."
"Where are you from by the anyway? You looked foreign too." Jisoo asks.
"I'm from Brazil, but I'm from an Italian, Spaniards and Argentine descendants." Duda narrates. "We used to live in Brazil but due to some circumstances, we moved in China."
"N-no wonder why you looked---"
"Yes, I'm a mestiza and I'm pretty. I'm aware of it." Duda cuts her off with a seemingly rude answer.
Duda's impression with Jisoo is not really good. Right now, she can already sense that she won't be liking Jisoo and don't want to make friends with someone like her. To her, Jisoo is too ordinary, common and boring, and the fact that her face seemed to be so innocent, even the way she speaks.
"And you know... Koreans mostly have plastic surgeons based on my own researches... mostly celebrities and models in there has undergo plastic surgeries, basically nose jobs and double eyelids... is that true?" Duda bluntly asked Jisoo without even thinking about her choice of words.
Jisoo stayed silent for a moment because of that question. She's a bit off about Duda's blunt question and it made her sound insensitive.
"Duda." Amyra calls her out.
"I'm not trying to be mean, okay? I'm just asking you if it's true. Just want to confirm you know." Duda says nonchalantly. "Around Asia, I think it's Korea who has the most plastic surgeries. I also heard that when people turned into their legal ages, they'll have whatever surgeries they want instead of having a debut party... I wonder if you have---"
