THE WAY BACK TO THE cavern was a short but surprisingly soothing trip. The only thing around her were the trees and occasional birds flying by. In one hand she held the bag of supplies the man had given her and in the other the little bunch of flowers the little girl gifted her. She knew she was getting close to the cavern when she saw the familiar dug out pit that Tommy decided to make for a pet of his. It was a strange day, everyone woke up to hear Tommy triumphantly exclaiming that he had dug a pit outside of the entrance. Of course, Techno and Wilbur thought he was joking so they went to go see, and when they saw the actual pit they were speechless. Azalea had started laughing after Tommy had accidentally fallen into the pit and was cussing out Techno and Wilbur for not helping him up. For a tall teenagers he should have been able to climb out, but he couldn't because as the smart teenager he was he dug it as high as himself.

Waiting outside the entrance was Wilbur, standing tall with his scarf wrapped loosely around his neck. He looked somewhat clueless and nervous, fidgeting with the object in his hands. Azalea couldn't really see what he was holding but it looked to be very thin. A smile formed on her face as she walked up towards him, the sun now setting making the woods feel surreal and the warm tones from the moving sunlight making some areas light up more so than others. There were a few animals running around chasing each other for fun.

Once she was close enough, Wilbur heard her footsteps approach and turned his head to see her. Despite the few bandages she had earned over the past few weeks and being dragged into hiding, she still looked unfazed. The hood she had borrowed was draped over her shoulders letting her hair cascade down behind her. To him, she was more radiant than any flower he had ever seen and he still couldn't fathom the idea he never knew her before. Yet she probably wouldn't have liked him if they had met before they did, the things he had to watch over and the choices he had to make would have scared her away. Maybe that's why he chooses not to tell her about his past, about his life before exile, before he had escaped.

And as much as he knew he wanted to stay with her and not go back, he had certain things that needed to be settled before anything. If it were up to him, he would leave, forget his past since he had already lost, he had nothing to gain and nothing to lose anymore. However he couldn't, despite it being a losing game for him and Tommy, Wilbur knew Tommy would never understand, Tommy was attached to the nation and court, he had built his life there and held hope they would go back. But they couldn't go back, no, and if they did it would be different, things wouldn't be the same.

Wilbur was drawn out of his thoughts when Azalea came up to stand in front of him. In her hands were the bag of supplies and a few flowers. Smiling, Wilbur took the supplies out of her hands for her and placed them down inside the cavern entrance so either Tommy or Techno would see it.

"Flowers?" He asked, looking at the small light colored petals

She giggled and brought them up to her nose to smell the scent, "a little girl was selling them and I thought they were lovely

"They are, but I think they need a little more,"

Wilbur brought his hands out from behind him, a little bunch of pink camellia flowers in his gloved hands. Azalea's eyes lit up as she saw the flowers, a light blush coming over her cheeks when Wilbur handed her the flowers.
