Topanga's POV

Cory and I sat in a chair on either side of Shawn's bed in the hospital. He was in a coma.

Cory hadn't stopped crying since we found out about the accident, 3 days ago. Neither had I actually.

I'd never felt so helpless. My oldest daughter was dead. My husband hasn't stopped crying for half a week. My husband's best friend (and mine too) was in a coma, and showing no sign of waking up. My two youngest kids would have to grow up without their older sister.

I wasn't sure if Maya knew yet. How could she? If she was found, however, we would invite her to Riley's funeral. She deserved to come.

Maya's POV

I sat beside Lucas on the couch in Josh's living room, in silence. Josh had called us earlier to tell us that he had news when he got home from wherever he was.

The door opened and Josh came in. He was in tears and slammed the door behind him.

Lucas looked mildly alarmed, but at least he didn't make some snarky comment about him crying.

"What's wrong?" I asked timidly.

Josh collapsed on an armchair. I jumped to my feet. "Josh, please, what's wrong?"

"Riley's dead."

Lucas turned white. I shook my head. "Don't even joke about that, Josh. What's wrong?"

"I told you! She was in a car accident. Mom and Dad told me today. The funeral's on Saturday. You're both invited," he sobbed.

"No. No, you're lying," I stammered. Josh shook his head, still sobbing.

I can't really remember what happened next. I just pushed my way outside blindly, ignoring Josh's sobs and Lucas's pleas for me to come back.

When I got outside, I sunk down against the wall and hugged my legs close to me.

I heard a whining sound 5 minutes later and I looked up. Tinkerbell looked up at me with a concerned expression (at least, that's what it looked like) on her face. I pulled her onto my lap and cried as I held her close to me.

I'm sorry this took me so long to update, but I struggled to put this into words. It's also really badly written.

But Topanga's POV at last, HELL YEAH!

I'm considering attaching a picture of Tinkerbell, but idk if you guys just want to keep imagining what she looks like or if you actually want to see a picture of what I image her to look like.
