Mathew's POV.
I look out of the car and towards the gaming building.
"Hey you ready?" Lilith asks me. I shrug. "Need to talk about it?" She puts a hand on my shoulder.
I look at her in the driver's seat. She's just as beautiful as the first day I met her. She is quite amazing. I think so highly of her it seems I must be talking about my girlfriend. I think it's funny since she's my ex-girlfriend. We just stayed on good terms. She has blonde hair with light blue eyes and freckles. She wears round glasses with her hair in a messy bun.
"I don't really know what to say about it. My parents don't want me anymore. I'm no child of theirs they said. I'll never be their son. They said they didn't care about me anymore. What else can I do?" I say as I look back towards the building.
"I know Matt, but it's good to talk to someone about it. You'll just make it worse bottling up your feelings," Lilith explains.Once again, I shrug. I knew this was going to happen. I knew once I told my parents they were gonna throw a fit and that was going to be it. I didn't think it was going to be as bad as it was. I didn't think they would actually kick me out. That they wold never want to see me again. I hoped they would be okay and that they knew I was just being myself. Hoping of course is only hoping. It's not reality, it's quite pointless. How could they accept me when even I don't accept me?
"We're going to be late," I said softly. She let out a sigh as she rolled her eyes. "I hate it when you men do that shit, so typical," Lilith said. I shrugged. "No I'm not." I snap. She chuckled. "Look, Matt, I love you but you really need to choose. Do you want to be like other guys or not? You get offended no matter what I say." She explained. "But your right we do need to go."
Well can she blame me? Most men aren't the problem but the men that are really shine more then them. I'm only hearing how men are cheaters, rapists that get away with it, and the wrong people in power.
Lilith gets out of the car and stretches her arms out. I step out of the car and close the door behind me. I walk over to her side. Lilith looks at me. "You know you make me question if I'm really gay or not," She says as she teasingly moves her hip next to mine. I laugh as I wrap my arms around her from behind me. "What can I say, I just have that effect on women," I tease back.
I let go of her and start to walk towards the building. Lilith grabs my arm.
"Hey, Matt, seriously though, I'm proud of you. You've come so far and I know you don't want to hear me say it but I'm sorry about whatever your parents said. That also I know I'll never be your parents but, I love you and accept you," Lilith pauses one moment, "That no matter what I'm always going to be here. If you want me to of course," Lilith chuckles as she finishes the sentence.
I nod. "Thanks, Lilith. It always means a lot. Now seriously we need to go." I let out a smile. She smiles back at me and nods.
