The soothing voice of Ben did wonders in her wretched heart. Gaya ng unang beses niya itong marinig na kumanta, para pa rin siyang ipinaghehele ng malamyos nitong boses. Magkayakap pa rin sila at ang mga labi nito ay maya’t mayang dumadampi sa kanyang tenga at pisngi habang kumakanta ito. His breath tickled her face and she ended up snuggling him closer.

Hindi niya na nabigyan ng pansin ang nagaganap na performance sa stage. Kahit pa ang ingay ng ibang taong naroroon sa concert ay parang bulang naglaho. All that matter at this particular moment is the man holding her possisively, singing the song he dedicated to her years ago. The song that her young heart managed to remember even if her mind has completely forgotten his name. The song that connects the two of them until now that they’re older.

Gusto niyang umasa na isa itong sign na nagsasabing handa na ang lalaki na kalimutan ang nakaraan at patawarin siya dahil nasaktan niya ito nang hindi niya sinasadya. Gusto niyang maniwala na maaari pa silang magsama ng nobyo nang walang galit, hinanakit at panunumbat na pumapagitna sa kanilang dalawa.

Humigpit lalo ang pagyakap sa kanya ng lalaki. His hands traveled from her back to her waist and later on, to her hips. Nagpasalamat siya sa kadiliman na nagkubli ng pamumula ng kanyang mukha. He hasn’t changed a bit. He doesn’t have what it takes to hide the desire that he obviously feel for her. She bit her lower lip because the feeling is mutual. She can’t wait to have the opportunity to show this man how much she misses him.

Her own hands trembled as she touches his nape and his back. Sa ilang araw na paghihiwalay nila ay tila katumbas ng ilang taon kaya halos mabaliw siya sa alaala ng mga yakap nito.
