"As Lewa has told you, the creatures empower the elements of out island, matching to our Toa protecters." Ekimu explained as they left the city. "When the Toa returned to stars, the creatures stayed in the city. Sadly, evil shadow mungers from the shadow realm attacked. The creatures were captured and tortured."

"That's terrible!" Breez said.

"It gets worse." Lewa said. "We have only been able to rescue two. The others are still captured."

"Yes, and the only one who can track them and their captors is gone." Ekimu said.

"Who was that?" Breeze asked.

Ekimu sighed. "Go-Younga. She was the last surviver of her species. A species created by Makuta. When my brother tried to put all the elements in one mask, his many failed masks made beings who could control all the elements. Sadly, they could not hold all that power and were all destroyed by the power within them. Except Go-Younga."

"How?" Breez asked.

"When she was created, she was made with vents that let out her extra power." Onua explained.

"What happened to her?" Breez asked.

"For some reason, when we needed the Toa return from the stars to save us from the shadow mungers, the evil shadows of Makuta were some how able to block their return. The only way to free them was to use all the elements at once. Go-Younga turned off her vents and used all her elements at once. She was destroyed but the Toa arrived." Ekimu explained.

"Her mask shattered into dozens of pieces." Lewa explained. "We've found a bunch of pieces."

"So, you lost her and the creatures." Breez said. "I'm so sorry." She turned to Ekimu. "It must have been hard to lose your niece."

"Niece?" Ekimu said, the word not existing in their world.

"The daughter of your brother." Breez explained.

"Daughter?" The toa said.

"Where I come from, when beings are created, they have parents who made them. If the parents have siblings, they are the being's aunt or uncle." Breez said.

"Oh, then I guess I do miss my...niece." Ekimu said sadly. "Well, we must continue to the temple of the prophet."

Unbeknownst to any of them, a figure in the shadow realm watched over them with a creature on their shoulder.

The figure spoke to the Bat-like creature.

"Hero..." They whispered.
