The next morning
10:16am
"I'll get the doctor right away sir", the nurse tells me as she disappears in a hurry.
Kiiara sighs. "How long is this going to take?"
"An hour." I shrug. "Maybe two."
She rolls her eyes. "I have training."
"And you're excused."
She folds her arms and scowls.
I brought Jordan for some DNA testing for the mission and Kiiara insisted she come along.
So I decided to administer a test on her too.
Right now the Longsdale siblings were staring at the ground looking bored.
Especially Kiiara.
Her bored longing expression made me smile to myself. She was still annoyed but I knew she wanted to talk to me.
"How'd you sleep?", I ask trying to make conversation.
"Great", she mumbles.
"What about you Jordan?"
Jordan stops playing with his hands and looks up at me.
"Good, sir."
Kiiara looked surprised at his manners and so did I.
Jordan didn't make eye contact and Kiiara looked at him surprisingly. I clear my throat to grab her attention and signal her to stand by me.
She gets up and stands in front of me.
"What?", she asks.
I check her out from head to toe admiring how her grey shirt hugs her waist and how her eyeliner accentuates her eyes.
Eyeliner makes her look like a goddess.
"Nile!"
"What?", I murmur still checking her out.
I finally look up to see her scowling which makes me smile just a little.
"You're such a teenager. Checking me out."
"There's a lot to check."
She rolls her eyes and crosses her hands. "What did you need me for?"
"Nothing you seemed bored sitting. "
"Okay well what am I getting tested for?"
"I'm doing another DNA test which shows me your physical and mental strengths based on your genetics."
"Is mental strengths even possible to find with a DNA test?"
"You'd be surprised."
"Mr. Rivers we are ready for you", the nurse peeks in.
Kiiara takes Jordan by the hand and the nurse escorts us to a room. She turns to Kiiara. "Ma'am, there can only be the patient and the adult in the room. You will have to wait this out."
"My ass I wont. He's my brother."
I roll my eyes at her profanity towards the kind nurse. "Kiiara, its okay just wait outside."
"No, I want to know what you are doing to him."
"Just some genetic testing." I grab the chart from the nurse and show her till she hesitantly obliges and goes back to the waiting room.

"I'll be right back sir", the nurse rushes out leaving me alone with Jordan.
