When Naomi finally woke up, it wasn't from her alarm. The Jones girl woke up to her mother screaming at her.

Naomi's relationship with her mother had never been good. After the divorce the two were constantly bickering and fighting about the smallest things. Her mother highly disapproved of the girls passion for music and hated the fact that she was so close to Julie.

"WHERE WERE YOU LAST NIGHT?! YOU TOLD ME YOUD BE HOME BY 1 AND YOU WERENT HOME AT 3!" Her mother shouted in her face.

"Sorry, I got hung up at the dance. Julie had some trouble." Naomi responded.

"I don't care about that Molina girl! She's been a pest ever since her mother died. I don't want you hanging out with her anymore!" Her mother sneered.

"Well thankfully you don't get to choose who I do and don't hang out with!" Naomi shouted at her mother while grabbing her bag.

Naomi always had a bag ready to go for an emergency sleepover. It had clothes and some toiletries in it just in case she ever needed to leave in a hurry.

"Don't you dare step out that door young lady! The second you step out of this door you don't have to come back!" Her mother seethed with anger.

"Well maybe I don't want to come back! Maybe I just want to go live with dad!" Naomi shouted back waking out of the door.

After realizing what just happened, Naomi started running. Tears pouring down her face. She had absolutely no clue where she was going. She let her feet take control and just ran. She ran until she was met with a familiar door. Julies door.

Deciding it would be best to go directly to the studio. She saw Julie on the keys and Alex and Reggie at their instruments as well. Not even bothering to say anything she made a run for the bathroom and changed.

Walking out of the bathroom she was met with 4 faces full of sympathy, with Luke also there now. After assuring everyone everything was fine. Julie left to go to school mumbling something about dance class.

After Julie left Alex and Reggie went inside to check for food even though they couldn't eat, leaving just Naomi and Luke.

Staring in front of her, Naomi finally talked. "I'm pretty sure my mom just kicked me out."

"Wait what? What happened?" Luke asked with worry in his voice.

"She was mad I was home so late and started screaming so I walked to the door, she said if I walked out I didn't have to come back. I told her that maybe I didn't want to come back and I should just live with dad and then I walked out...." Naomi quickly exclaimed.

"I'm so sorry Naomi..." Luke said with full sympathy in his voice. He wanted nothing more then give the heartbroken girl a hug right now, but he couldn't.

"Hey guys we should probably start rehearsing for tonight." Alex broke the silence.

"Oh, I'll just leave then I guess." Naomi said. "Nono Nono you're staying, you can sing Julie's parts." Luke quickly shot down the girls offer.

It took a little convincing but Naomi finally agreed to help them rehearse. Luke quickly explained the notes of the song to her and she started humming.

"So we wanna start with the bridge so it's Julie and Luke. Well now Naomi and Luke." Reggie said.

Scanning over the sheet, she found the bridge. Mumbling a quick "of course it's this part" to herself. She grabbed a mic.

" just start on the chorus and go into the bridge." Luke explained.

Nodding in understandment the girl took place as Alex counted them off.

Moving to stand closer to Luke, Naomi was now facing him. Seeing the smirk on his face, she dared him to share a mic with her

Luke repeated, now looking completely in to Naomi's eyes. She could feel shivers up her spine as she realized how close they were.

Naomi finally broke away from his gaze and turned to face the direction where the crowd would be. Quickly looking over her shoulder, she shot a glare at a smirking Reggie.

Been so long, and now we're finally free

"Wow, I felt the tension go up with 100 right here." Alex pointed out.

Not wanting to speak on the topic, Naomi pretended to check her phone. "Oh it's my mom texting me to come home, I'll catch y'all before the gig in a few days!"

Shooting one last glance at Luke she could she he wasn't buying her story of her mom who just 'kicked her out' wanting her home.

Ignoring his state, she walked out the door. Still not knowing where to head to now.
