"What's the matter?" You asked, as you walked into
a office and seeing Daisuke smack his phone against his thigh repeatedly.

"They need me to fly out early and get to London tonight. The case is getting worse by the minute a new scene is linked with the main crime." Daisuke responded, leaning against the edge of his desk, rubbing his forehead.

"Oh.. then you better get changed right now!" You grabbed his wrist and jerked his body away from the desk and out of the room.

"Y/n! Aren't you pissed off?" He asked.
"Why would I be?..."

Daisuke tilted his head to the side, and raised his brow.

"Okay... maybe a little, but It's your job, they're obviously going to call you in early when something else has just happened." You looked back at him and scoffed.

He sighed deeply. "I'm sorry we haven't been spending much time together lately." Daisuke held your hands and looked down at your face, giving a small frown. "Don't get all cold now, it's fine. We'll spend some time with each other one day." You weakly laugh.

"I love you." Daisuke spoke in a sarcastic tone. "Ew, corny much?" You scrunched your nose and giggled, trying to pull away from Daisuke's grip. "Come on! We need to get you ready!" You tried to drag Daisuke out of the office; but there was no improvement of him moving. "Not until you say it back." He pulled your wrists back, making you stumble into his broad body and see his pouting expression.

Daisuke may look like a brick wall; with no emotions or humour in the public eye. However, when it came to you or Kai, he's a pure softie. Surprisingly, he does have good jokes, provokes you to the brim, annoys you when he doesn't receive attention and the infamous trait; chatting shit about people to you.

"Fine, I love you too." you hit your right hand on his chest. "Now gimme a kiss," he asked, leaning closer to your face. You leaned in to give a peck, but Daisuke swerved his head to the side; ditching your thirsty peck. You jaw hung in embarrassment. "You are such an ass!" you groaned and punched him playfully and dragged him out of the office as he laughed.

"Where's Kai?" Daisuke inquired, flicking your head to the bed, you indicated that the sleepy boy was on the bed with the soft white covers, covering him up.

You chucked his shirt, suit jacket, tie and pants. "W-wait!" Daisuke whispered, as he was struggling to catch the fabrics. Sighing, he eventually pulled off his grey shirt, making his muscular, exposed body reveal to you once again. Folding Kai's freshly washed clothes, you looked up to him and see his back full of scars.

"Those marks? Still there?" You walked up to him, and ran your fingers up and down his back like a trail.

"Mhm. What can I say? You never keep your hands off me.." Daisuke looked over his shoulder to you and smirked. Playfully, you rolled your eyes and blushed, walking away.

"I'll go downstairs and get the car ready. I'll drop you off." You spoke, grabbing your large, black velvet winter coat, and walked down on one of the curved stair cases. Daisuke crawled onto the middle of the bed, where Kai was letting out cute little snores, and he kissed his head.

"I'll be back soon.. don't miss me too much.." Daisuke kissed his head one more time. As he was walking out of the door, he said.. "Papa has to catch the boogeyman... once again." shutting the door quietly  and walking downstairs to you.

"Kai is upstairs sleeping, make sure he's safe." Daisuke spoke to the guards who were stood in grey suits. "Yes boss." they spoke in synchronising harmony.

Tthe Great Dane, Marcus; your house pet came strutting in from the hallway. "Here he is!" Daisuke knelt on one knee and started to pet Marcus. Whom was fully groomed, with his pitch black fur which was soft and his pointed ears stood as at a straight posture.

"Alright buddy, I know you'll keep Kai safe." Daisuke stood up and playfully tapped his hand on the side of Marcus's back, making him strut towards you. You smiled and ruffled with his face and stood back up. "Hey Marcus!" You cooed, and eventually see him wander around the house.

"Let's go!" You dangled the keys from your finger, until Daisuke grabbed them. "I'll drive." he said bluntly, as he walked out the door holding his suitcase.

"Sir, shall I take your lug-" "Oh don't worry about it Aito, please take care of yourself and head on home." Daisuke projected then eventually smiled, lifting his suitcase.

Aito, being the age of 62, he was the butler for your shared house with Daisuke. Even though yourself and Daisuke were independent and self governing; you both did things yourselves, and didn't rely on others to do your job or daily tasks. Whereas Kai.. he would be calling Aito to play with him, instead of assisting him! He was considered family rather than 'ordinary butler'

"Why don't you let me me drive! I'm not going to crash unlike you!" You yelled at Daisuke, feeling cold wind send shivers down your cheeks...

"Yeah, I don't think so." Daisuke slammed the boot-door down, and walked to the drivers side of the car.

"Alright..alright! Whatever." You scoffed, "Just trying to be helpful."
