Daisuke POV
London : Wednesday 6:02 am

"Daisuke! Daisuke wake up!"
I hear faint noises, growing louder and louder and getting back into my senses. Opening my eyes, I see I am sat on a cold concrete floor, with my wrists handcuffed to a bar over my head. Looking around, I see Haru on the opposite side of the room, in the exact same position. Trying to pull away from the handcuffs, there was no luck. The rattling sounds and banging made it difficult.

"Where are we?" I asked, squeezing my eyes shut, then fluttering them open to gain full conscious.
"I think it's a boiling- I don't know, heating room, something like that, because look-" Haru flicked his head to the side. "It's a heating meter dial.. it's not moving, there are 15 heating bars here. Idon't think they're on now, but sooner or later they will be." Haru jutted his head to the meter and the vents.

"Heusc-"

"There's no point Daisuke, they took everything from us.. even your earring stud." Haru sighed.
"I just knew there was something off.. there were no guards.. no security.. no cameras to challenge us" he spoke again. Now starting to piece everything together; Y/n was trying to warn me. I was just stupid to not realise and not take action.

Looking down at the cracked concrete floor, a sound of a heavy door creaked opened. Both myself and Haru looked up and back to each other..
A tall slender male, dressed in a finest grey suit, with a bold black hat placed low to cover his facial features. The male stood in a hunched manner, my sights widened, to the reveal of his face.

"Is this him?" I asked, holding up the picture, as I walked away inside the airport with chief.

'Was' actually. He was murdered an hour ago. That's why we've needed you fly out a little earlier so yourself and Haru can not only investigate his company but also now the murder.. it's very odd and peculiar. I know it may seem a lot to handle.. so if you want out of the murder, just say so, Ave we can find other detectives." Chief responded, grabbing his luggage from the moving machine.

"No it's fine. We can do it" I said bluntly, looking down at the picture again.

A thin face, cheekbones defined and bold, with thin lips and brown wolf like eyes. His black hair was slicked back, and he was stood in a suit, in a hunched position, distributing his weight into his hips.

"He does seem.. odd" I added.

"Well that's Victor Valentine for ya." Chief chuckled and walked away, dragging his luggage.

"Victor." I snarled, looking up to him.

"Aw you figured?!" He flung off the hat in a excited manner, with his arms exaggerated outwards and a grin plastered on his face, ear to ear. "I- I thought you were murdered! Your body was literally covered in blood. You were dead!" Haru exclaimed.

"He wasn't." I looked back to the floor.

"What do you mean? You knew he wasn't dead?! Why didn't you say anything?" Haru darted his sights to me.

"I wasn't sure if my assumptions could even be true, so I kept quiet. It was suspicious though. If your sat in a seat, with a table in between you, and you've been stabbed, the victim wouldn't lean forward, they would fall to the side. Not only that, your still conscious once your stabbed, only for a couple of seconds or if your lucky.. maybe a minute.." I explained.

"Mr Valentine could of at least try to put pressure on the wound or call for help. But he didn't. It seemed very strange." I looked up from the floor and with my sights to Victor.

"That's reasonable.. you must be the one and only... Mr Daisuke Kambe. Hmm?!" Victor spoke in a aw'ed tone, walking towards me and lifting my chin. Without notice, Victor landed a punch onto my face, making me groan."Daisuke!" Haru exclaimed. "Wow.. solid facial structure!" Victor shook his hand, as his shadow covered me, and his gaze at me. I coughed and spat out blood on the floor to the right side, not breaking the eye contact between us both.

"What are you both doing here?" Victor asked in a agitated voice. "What does it look like you fool! Your a fucking drug lord who covers the title and names himself a business man, don't think for a hot minute that we wouldn't find out." Haru snarled and risked his wrists from the handcuffs.

Haru. He always had something to say. No matter how serious or insignificant a situation is; he would add his own comments. He either makes a fool out of himself or be making actual sense.

"Took you some time though" Victor chuckled and turned around, facing the guards, passing his blooded gloves to one of them. "This is going to be fun" Valentine circled his arms around and stretched his neck side to side.

After what seemed like a good hour, myself and Haru were worn out punching bags. Blood dripped from our faces and intertwined with the sweat falling off our faces. "Well if your not going to tell me the full story.. I'm sure my boys would love to hear it.. hmm?" Victor grabbed a handful of Haru's hair and pulled his head up, revealing his blooded and punctured face. He was barely conscious, with his head limping and eyes drooping opening and closing.

"Do whatever you need to do to get information from them. One request... don't kill them." Victor stood up and whispered to the guards. "It was lovely to meet you boys!" He grabbed his jacket and walked up the stairs and shutting the door.

"I guess it's our time to shine!" One of the guards spoke. He was wearing a black fitted top, which exposed his lion tattoo from his arm. He was bald, no hair whatsoever. Whereas the other was wearing a grey tank top, showing off his abs and muscular build. He too was bald, however he had facial hair : a goatee and a moustache.

Daisuke forced to lift his head up and sighed,

"Fuck."
