9:30 am (London Time)

"Yeah.. alright.. alright! You want me to take a picture with the Big Ben- Y/n, I'm only here for work this isn't a holiday-" I balanced my phone on my shoulder and pressed it against my ear, hearing
y/n screeching about London, while I fixed my tie into position.

"Daisuke! We gotta go!" Kato banged on the wooden door and yelled.

"I have to go, I'll talk to you later." I spoke in a hurry and hung up without even saying "goodbye" or "I love you"

Shit. I didn't say any of those to her. I shut my eyes tight in regret, hoping that y/n wouldn't be angry or irritated.

Pushing the thought of out my head, I grabbed the needed equipment and headed out from my hotel accommodation, meeting Kato; whom was leaning against the wall, looking down at his phone. "I'm guessing Y/n wants you to bring London back home, right?" Kato asked, shooting his sights up to me.
"Yes. She wants me to take pictures with the Big Ben, meet the queen, go to Downing Street, meet the prime-minister, go on bike rides..." I read out the list.

"Wow, you could of just brought her and Kai with you.. speaking of Kai, how is he? I haven't seen him in ages! He's how old? Three four?-"

"Three" I cut him off, and we started to walk down the .

"Ah, I knew it." He tucked his hands in his pockets.

"It's been so long since I've seen him.. wow." Kato said.

"If you went and saw him now, he'd probably run away from you. No offence" I cheekily smirked and walked ahead of him, leaving Kato in a state of surprise.

"Hey! He'll remember me!" He yelled from behind.

We arrived at a large, expensive banquet hall, with tables and a stage at the front. It was known to be a hall for the richest; and now a crime for me and Kato to solve.

A millionaire businessman and actor by the name of, Victor Valentine, had been murdered out of no where in London, in this Banquet hall. Yesterday night, when I received a call back home, another report came through where he had apparently overdosed.

Ah, a two tale story.

"Daisuke! Haru! I'm glad you could make it early! This is the room where it happened." our chief had caught up with us, as we walked down a long corridor, and into a private room.

"I'll go check security camerasz" Haru announced.

"You can only get a limited amount of information." I jutted my head around around the empty corridor, there were broken cameras wired on the ceiling, that could lead to any suspects. "Great, I'll go there no-" Kato huffed and walked back.

"Heusc, open camera files from yesterday evening." I pressed onto my earring stud. "Yes sir.. these are the files from yesterday evening." Heusc responded.

The video appeared as a hologram, right infront of us all. I play-backed a little faster, until I stopped at normal speed when Victor approached into the screen. "That's him going into the room right over there" Haru pointed out.

A couple of minutes go by, and the corridors were empty. Nobody passed by. Until a slender male figure walked through, in a black suit, we could only see his back. I switched the camera angle to view its front. They were wearing a mask.

The suspect glared into the direction of the front camera, but in a split second, the cameras had been switched into other areas of the banquet..
"Shit" I mumbled under my breath and scanned my eyes around other cameras, to see the long corridor we are standing on right now, to not appear on the screen at all.

"The suspect must of shot the cameras once they were no longer part of the system." I stroked my chin, thinking about what else must have happened. "How do you know they were gunshots" Haru asked. "Only the glass frame of the cameras are shattered. The rest of the camera build is perfectly fine. If he were to demolish them, he would of chucked a object at them." I explained to Haru.

"Makes sense. There's definitely more than one suspect, he can't of done this all alone" Haru walked around, trying to find any other clues.

"Victor wasn't working alone, that's for sure." Chief added.

"I agree.. myself and Kato will now check inside the room." I responded, as we both walked towards the closed doors of the private room.
