Day 2
3.00 AM By Candlelight
I just can't get any sleep.
Somehow the night seems to be calling out to me. The soft cold wind that whispers in, the scent of the night life, and the brilliance of the moonlight.
All calling out to me, calling me to play with them.
It's raining outside my window, the pitter-patter of the drops making it harder to fall asleep. My candle is already starting to die and I don't want to wake anyone up by switching on the lights in my room.
I went down to the kitchen a few minutes back to get a glass of milk and met Gangster on the way. Gangster was Grandma's bloodhound and he was absolutely huge for his breed. With his bloodshot eyes and loud bark, he would scare a mountain lion if it crossed his path.
Yet...... He backed away with his tail between his legs when he saw me.
It was hard not to notice how the animals in the estate had been reacting to me after I was bitten. The horses ran away, the birds shrieked and flew higher, and the cats hissed at me.
But the most unexpected behavior was from the dogs. I expected them to bark or bite me, but they did neither. Instead they hid in the shadows, watching me cautiously.
When I held out a hand for Gangster to lick, he came forward eagerly. After a couple of minutes, with me talking to him in soothing tones, he was back to his playful self, which he always displayed to me.
I then realized the cause of this strange behavior, Diary.
Wolves are supposed to be the cousins of dogs, right? Maybe that's why the dogs were acting so differently towards me. Eager cause I was closely related to them, but weary since I was a superior being.
Great. The dog was now my cousin.
The only animal that didn't act any different was Starlight. He behaved like I was normal and that made me happy, really happy.
I wanted to take Starlight riding yesterday, but Grandma kept me busy showing me the various changes she had made on her estate. Not much really, the stables had been upgraded, she made a new path to the woods and she changed the flowers in the gardens.
Well enough of all that, Diary. I really need to get some sleep now. Write to you later.

Hombres LoboDiary, Three things happened to me yesterday: 1. I came over to grandma's place. 2. I had my first kiss. 3. I was bitten by a werewolf. Fantastic, I know. Anyway, since I'm practically going through the 'change' (or whatever you call it), I thought...
