"How is she?" Asked Dean.
"No different," Said Brianna, disappointed.
Dean sighs and rubs his hand over his face.
"What did Mel say?" Asked Brianna.

Brianna gave Dean a small grin.
"She's going to be okay Dean, Julia strong," said Brianna, softly.

"Yeah I was building when I got the call," Said Dean.
"How is she?" Asked Melanie.
"They took her breathing tube out and put her oxygen. Nothing else has changed," Said Dean with a sigh.

"Mommy?" Questioned Julia, softly.
Brianna and Dean rush over to Julia bedside hearing her voice.
"Yeah it's me," Said Melanie, softly.
"When did you get home?" Asked Julia, confused.
"Don't worry about it," Said Melanie, softly.

In The Hallway
Dean and Melanie are standing in the hallway talking to the doctor.
"She's awake which is the good news, but she took a really hard hit to the head and will need to be taking things easy for a while. No horseback riding till I give the say she's still at a very fragile spot. She'll be discharged tomorrow but there will be a routine appointment every two weeks to watch her progress," Explained The Doctor.
"Okay we understand, thank you," Said Melanie.
Melanie and Dean walk back into Julia's room while the doctor walks away.
