Chapter Four

Acting School
Julia and her other classmates are sitting together watching their teacher get up on the stage.
"Okay, Julia come up on stage for me," Said the teacher.
Julia gets up and on the stage confused.
"Please do your monologue," Said the teacher.
"What monologue?" Asked Julia, confused.
"The one I told you to practice," Said the teacher.
"You never told me to practice a monologue," Said Julia, defensively.
"And Julia was a great example of how to not do improv," Said the teacher.
Julia looks around completely confused. Suddenly a blond haired teen boy raises his hand.
"You never taught us that," Said the boy.
"Didn't I Ty?" Asked the teacher.
"No, and that's not my name," Said the boy.
"Well it's like I don't even know you," Said the teacher.
"You don't know me," Said the teen.
"Is there a Ty in here?" Asked the teacher.
A teen boy stands up.
"I'm a Ty," Said Ty.
"Okay great come up," Said the teacher.
Ty walks up on the stage with his teacher.
"So Mr. Raymond what do you want me to do?" Asked Ty.
"How'd you know that was my name!?" Mr. Raymond asked, shocked.
"I heard another teacher call you Ray," Said Ty.
"Well that doesn't mean my name is Raymond," Said Raymond, upset.
"What else would it be?" Asked Ty, confused.
"It could be Rondal," Said Mr. Raymond.
"That makes no sense!" Argued Ty.
"Well class is over!" Said Mr. Raymond
Mr. Raymond starts to walk out of the room.
"Wait! You didn't teach us what improv was!" Yelled Julia.
Raymond storms back into the room and onto the stage.
"Improv is the art of making things up based on what the other person says without a script, Now class is over!" Raymond said and stormed out.

The Undergrove House

Julia walks into the house where her Mom and Dad were sitting in the kitchen.
"Hey how was your class?" Asked Meline.
"It was weird...my improv teacher is insane!" Said Julia with an eye roll.
"Why what happened?" Asked Meline.
"My teacher is crazy," Said Julia.
"So are you," Said Dean, sarcastically.
"Well I get it from you!" Said Julia, sarcastically.
"Haha! Very funny," Said Dean, mockingly.
"I know I am," Said Julia, happily.
Julia walks out of the room.
"Do you always have to fight with her?" Asked Meline.
"I think we both know the answer to that," Said Dean with a smile.
"Do you think she actually likes her acting school," Asked Melanie.
"Yeah don't you?" Asked Dean.
"I don't know...I just worry," Said Meline, worriedly.
"That's because you worry too much," Said Dean.
Dean stands up and kisses Meline's head. Dean then walks out the door and Julia walks back into the kitchen with a button up plaid shirt, belt and jeans.
"Where are you going?" Asked Meline.
"To ride," Said Julia.
"Oh wait honey," Said Meline.
"Yeah mom?" Asked Julia.
"Do you actually like this acting school?" Asked Meline.
"Yeah mom, stop worrying," Said Julia.
Julia then walks out the front door.
"I'll try too," Said Meline with a sigh.

In The Barn

Julia is pulling Angel out of her stall and puts her in the cross ties.
"Hey did your mom talk to you?" Asked Dean.
"Yeah and she's all worried about nothing," Said Julia.
"That's your mom for you, you do like your acting school right?" Asked Dean.
"Yeah of course I do, yeah it's different, but I like it! It's a lot of fun!" Said Julia.
"Okay well tell your mom that," Said Dean.
"I will dad," Said Julia with a smile.
Julia then leads Angel saddled up out of the barn and I got the area.

In The Area

Julia is trotting around on Angel and soon breaks into a canter. She canters to laps when Meline walks out and over to the fence.
"Julia..." Said Meline with a sigh.
Julia walks over to Meline with a smile.
"Hey mom!" Said Julia, happily.
"You said you'd take this slow," Said Meline, worried.
"Mom, I'm fine it's been seven months, and I've barely ridden," Said Julia, reassuringly.
"I know that but after what happened, you need to make sure you're fine first and the Doctor hasn't given an okay for this much," Scolded Meline.
"Okay, okay... I'll be done," Said Julia with a sigh.
"Thank you," Said Meline, relieved.
"But can I do just one more lap?" Asked Julia, hopeful.
"Okay, just one," Said Meline giving in.
Julia smiles and trots off.

20 minutes later in the Undergrove house

Meline is washing the dishes when Julia runs in excitedly.
"Mom guess what?!" Said Julia, overjoyed.
"What?" Asked Meline.
"I just got a call about doing an audition!!!" Said Julia, super excited and happy.
"Really?" Asked Meline, surprised.
"Yeah, it's this weekend," Said Julia, happily.
"Wow! That's great!" Said Meline, happily.
"Yeah I'm so excited!" Said Julia, thrilled
"You'll do great!" Said Meline, sportively.
"Thanks mom!" Said Julia with a smile.
