It was about two in the morning and Frank Iero was fucking freezing.

He was standing around in an abandoned back alley with his hands shoved in his pockets, glancing around uneasily.

Frank checked his watch impatiently. He had told his boyfriend that he'd be back before long, but it was already creeping up on an hour. Frank was seriously considering calling it quits, and began to move towards the exit of the alley, but came to a halt when he heard footsteps coming his way.

"Going somewhere, Iero?"

A tall, inky figure approached out of the shadows, footfalls echoing greatly in the deathly silent night.

"Not at all." Frank replied, taking a small step backwards and bumping into the cold brick wall behind him.

The figure chuckled. "Good good."

They leaned up against the wall next to Frank and pulled out a cigarette, carefully lighting it before bringing it up to their face. The person took a long, graceful drag before addressing Frank again.

"Now I assume you know why I have asked you to meet me here tonight?"

Frank stiffened a bit. He knew alright. He didn't like the reason, but he knew. "Yes, but-"

"Ah, ah." The figure interrupted. "I am well aware of the predicament you have gotten yourself into and quite honestly, I don't give a fuck."

That shut Frank up.

The person took another slow drag from their cigarette. "So you know what you have to do, then?"

Frank nodded, staring up into the starless sky.

"Use your words, Frank." Said the person.

Frank sighed and brought his attention back to the alley. "Yes, I know what I must do."

"Very well." The figure said, dropping their cigarette and squashing it into the ground with their heel. "There will be consequences if you fail."

Frank nodded stiffly.

"You've let me down once before, Frank. I'd hate to have to do something I'll regret, it always makes such a mess." The figure turned away and strolled towards the end of the alleyway. "Don't fail me again. That wouldn't be a wise choice." With that, the figure dissapeared into the night, footsteps slowly growing quieter.

Frank let out a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding. He started making his way back home, wishing he could just wish away his problems.

When he arrived home, Frank immediately crawled into bed beside his boyfriend, who was already fast asleep.

"Night, Gee." Frank whispered, kissing Gerard gently on the forehead before snuggling into the covers and closing his eyes.
