The walk back to the Warren was quiet. Nathalay looked at the Warren ahead, successfully not making a sound. Zidumni looked at the ground, silent in shock. Oddball looked like he wanted to scream, but was also afraid to scream. Even Lemon drops didn't bother doing his daily grumbles.

It felt like hours drew by, but the path was only a few minutes walk. The rain stopped luckily, so it was easier to focus on what their goal was.

The lifeless kit, limp looking in Lemon drops mouth, dangled in the way like a swing. Childlike and horrific.

As they reached the warren, a group of hefty rabbits hopped by the sand slope and onto the path as well. It took them a second to find them. Their eyes were wide with shock.

The biggest of the rabbits, the captain of the owlsla, Captain Sourdew, hopped up to them.

"What's happened here, why are you up early, soaking wet, and carrying a dead kit?!" He demanded.

Nathalay was going to speak first but Oddball spitted out the words, like a kit in trouble.

"Itwasntourdoing.wedidntmeanit,we didn'tdoit.wesawitbythehill,withadeadfoxinatrap.dontpunishusweweretryingtogetittothechiefrabbit!!!"

"Hold on Oddball, calm down. Hold your breath. Nathalay what did he say?'' Sourdew asked. Turning to Nathalay.

"Well sir, we found this kit' s body in the rain along with a dead fox in a man trap. We were going to show it to Cedar Rah." Nathalay quickly explained.

Sourdew gave her a look. A look that meant that he didn't understand a damn word she or Oddball just said.

After what seemed like a long time of staring at them, Sourdew then asked, "where's this so called Fox then?"

"Up on the green hill, by the woods." This time it was Zidumni who spoke.

Sourdew looked at the hill she spoke of, then looked back at then and ordered some soilders to evastagate the scene.

He then asked for Nathalay for any other useful information, to which sadly had none.

Sourdew and the rest of the patrol, then asked for the kits body, to which at first Zidumni wanted to refuse, but Nathalay looked at her, and whispered to let them.

Sourdew thanked them and set them on their way, telling them that they'll tell Cedar Rah about the accident. Nathalay was disappointed that she wasn't able to prove herself. But then again, the owlsla can show him more prove than she and her sister can.

And right now, I feel like i need a rest. I wasted a lot of energy. And theirs.

The thought of sleep warmed in her mind.

Lemon drops and Oddball was already asleep, when she reached her den. Zidumni was by the side of the den, "you think Cedar Rah will believe this?"

Nathalay paused a bit, but then gave her most logic answer. "I mean, I suppose so, they are the Owlsla after all. He has to put his belief in his soilders. All Rahs have too."

"Do all Rahs ignore the truth and concern of the outskirters. What's the point of leading if you can't believe the concern of the rabbits your supposed to protect."

Nathalay nodded in agreement. "Well most rabbits believe their entitled to everything and everyone. But deep down inside their weaker than us. They just want to make rabbits like us feel worse to them feel good."

Zidumni laughed, "that's a stupid act."
Nathalay laughed in agreement. "It's very stupid."

"You know what's more stupid, two rabbits chitting chatting about nonescence, and not letting others sleep." Lemon drops interrupted.

Nathalay and Zidumni rolled their eyes, curled up and went to sleep.

Slowly after, the sun rose and the clouds retreated. A perfect morning.
