It rained A lot since the mysterious man traps were found by Nathalay and Zidumni.
To be perfectly honest, Nathalay almost could have sworn that as soon as she and her sister came across the weird shiny man trap, it rained constantly.
Of course....they never saw any man come to add or collect traps...
But, sometimes in the rain Nathalay swore she saw dark shadows.
Zidumni never noticed, but when Nathalay talked about it. Zidumni gave the same words..."your just traumatized from what happened a few nights back...thats all."
Was she right though....
Was it her imagination........
Nathalay found this true and false.
Sure she was still shook from that night, but......
Nathalay always found herself well known as a thinker and not a dreamer, like Zidumni.
Usually Zidumni was always the one seeing weird things.
"Imagination, scoff."Lemon drops (who had to share a den, and Oddball with the sisters because the owsla thought their old den was better) grumbled behind them.
"The only use to imagination are for fools, know that from now on."
Oddball glared at Lemon drops. But then turned to face her and Zidumni.
"Don't mind him, he's just TIRED aren't you Lemon drops" Oddball said turned to Lemon drops with a look.
Lemon drops grumbled and turned around to sleep.
Nathalay stood quiet as Zidumni also curled up in a ball and Sleep.
"Sigh, I'm going to get something to eat."
Oddball looked at her. "Really, out there. But it's pouring out there."
"Rain ain't going to kill me. I'll be back."
Nathalay lefted before Oddball could say anything else.
She went to the green hill and stopped at the side.
She nibbled at the grass, and like Oddball said..it was pouring.
I shouldn't stay here long. I could risk getting sick.
Nathalay finished and was about to head home when she heard it.
SNAP.! SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
No no, Don't tell me.....
Nathalay raced to her den, waking up her sister, Oddball and Lemon drops.
"Nathalay what on ear-"
"Hurry someone is hurt!"
Lemon drops glared, "How do you know that?"
"AM I PLAYING AROUND HERE, COME FOR YOURSELF TO SEE!"
Nathalay led them to where the noise was at.
They went to the long grass and immediately the rusty smell of blood hit them.
When they found the body of whoever was screaming in pain, they froze.
A lifeless Fox, laying down on it's belly. The trap that Nathalay and Zidumni saw was under it, as it eating the fox' s belly.
In the fox' s mouth was another lifeless body.
A rabbit kitten.
