Nathalay woke with a jerk in her stomach. Though she felt no pain, something felt....off.

She got up, tried her best to not wake up Zidumni, and ran out of their burrow. Night had already fallen when she and her sister came back from the pond, but it felt like it happened along time ago.

As Nathalay quietly ran across the sand run and passed the green hills, a strange odor filled her nose. Nathalay cautiously looked out around. I don't see any danger out, but something smells wrong.

Nathalay  continued to follow the smell, which led her far from the Warren and into the tall grass. The smell started to go stronger as she went forward.

SNAP. Nathalay froze when she heard the noise coming from behind her. She turned for a bit, before the noise got louder and louder.

Fear clutched her heart tightly and Nathalay stood where she was, trying to blend with the grass when......

"Sister?" Nathalay paused when she saw the figure in the grass. Could it be? Nathalay studied the posture and size, just like her sister all right.

"Sister, come out. I know that's you."
Zidumni hopped from her hiding area and joined her sister's side. "Sorry if I scared you, I noticed you left the burrow and I followed your scent all over here."

Nathalay turned back to the area where the odd scent was coming from. "There was this strange smell that woke me up, I followed it to see what in Friths name was it coming from."

"You gotta really strong nose then if it leads all the way here." Zidumni said. "Did you find what it was?"

Nathalay shook her head. "No, but trying to figure ou- say, what's that metal shiny thing ?"

Zidumni gave the thing a sniff. "It smells like....man." She put her paw up to touch it and pressed the small little metal thing when...

SNAP. The metal shot up from two sides like a mouth with metal spikes like teeth. Luckily the two does backed off immediately and both fell on their backs with shock.

"By Frith, that was loud!" Zidumni said, her eyes focused on the triggered trap that lay in the tall grass. "Any elil for miles could hear that."

Nathalay also stared at the trap, but after a while she looked at her sister then her surroundings. "We better not stay here in case if there are, let's go."
